So "Alapuzha" is pronounced as "आ ल पूया", with a throaty stress on the rear of the roof of the mouth when uttering "या". The "zh" letter is unique to Malayalam/Tamil. For comparison, many Indian languages include the "ळ" letter (e.g., Marathi). This consonant is pronounced like the "ल" in Sanskrit, but uttered with the tongue curled up (as @niceone2731 pointed out). Hope that helps! 🙂 PS: If still in doubt, simply use य instead of ज़ or झ.
I am confused, the retroflex ‘la’ sound you talked about (also present in my native language) is produced by rolling the tip of the tongue and not throat. So, is the malayalam sound you mentioned a throat sound or a tongue roll sound?

It is mentioned here merely to point out that that there are special sounds in many Indian languages that non-native speakers would find difficult to understand, especially *Hindi* speakers. The zh is related to the Sanskrit य, just as the ळ is to the Sanskrit ल. Just an illustrative comparison, for people familiar with ळ, like yourself. Knowing that zh is similar sounding to य is useful, because I've heard people pronouncing it as jh or z (झ or ज़), both being wrong. Coming to the Phonetics part: you are absolutely right that the la is a retroflex form of ल (I've fixed the post to reflect that - thanks!). zh is a (sort of) voiced alveolar fricative sound. To utter it, you say the regular य but with the tip of your tongue held against the rear part of your palate (roof of the mouth). It's a tough one for sure! 🙂

They can't do journeys together because Monu bhai loves to work for middle class passengers and he likes to raise issues on board house keeping and on board catering and food while Satya Dixit likes to travel on business class like First AC and Executive Chair Car. Also he makes sponsored videos for railways. Therefore, he can't show the ground reality just like Monu and Himanshu.

For long time India deserved a good quality travel of international standards. Glad people have liked and welcomed this train. Many more improvements will come if public maintain and try to keep it clean. Liked this color combination equally like blue and white. There should be no standees as this will degrade the quality of travel and wear and tear of train.
Badia khana is an important factor in the travel meal service But sadly Excutive aur premium kisi bhi class me badia food maintain nahi kar paate. Inaugural run wala meal ku different hota hai? Ku ye regular nahi ho sakta?

Quite surprisingly both Vande Bharats are running between Kasaragod and Trivandrum. They have entirety ignored Palakkad, despite being a railway hq. They should have run one Vade Bharat between Coimbatore and Trivandrum via Palakkad. Also, was this a free travel? Can't understand why the train suddenly became a 'kerala cattle carrier' from Calicut?
Rather than making 75+ buses and thousands of cars or jeeps or methods of road transportation over the ghat region of wayanad, railways should have put a vande bharat service from mangalore to bangalore via kozhikode .. palakkad.
For Palakkad Region,Shoranur Jn is the nearest station, first of all see the map🙄,This Vande Bharat train almost connects every district, one can reach easily by bus or Train to Shoranur Jn.Its Common Sense Thing
Saffron definitely looks much better than bland white color scheme. For recommendation i would say neon or sky blue with similar design scheme will also look pretty cool✌️
