Stephen King films certainly have played a huge part of me growing up and I'm proud of it. Or else I never would've known who he was, then I never would've been a huge fan of these movies. Especially since I admire Drew Barrymore and Ryan Kiera Armstrong as Charlene "Charlie" McGee aka the Firestarter

Drew even admitted that Ryan was so good in it, and I agree. Those ladies did a great job 👏🏽. You better think about what you’re doing before commenting false comments
This is what I’ve been waiting to see. Drew was extremely emotional because it had taken her back almost 40 yrs. The world was so much different then. And when she played that role alongside David Keith, she was unstoppable!!! I think another reason it was so emotional is because Drew was passing the torch to an up-and-coming star knowing how much of a bad-ass and iconic role it was.
My heart explode with all kind of feelings. Just look how Drew fall on her knees before HER guest, it is extremely powerful and genuine and heartwarming. The respect they have for each other, and then the iconic poster recreation.

Some or many dont like reboots but if the story is right then it still possible. that is the same for any reboot it just a new direction but new girl with same power. but can still be a cool and shocking movie.
I knew this would happen with the new movie coming out. The original actress from Firestarter meeting the new one. It's a horror movie crossover I have wanted to see even if the new movie sucked badly, but I am glad we got to see this happen.

I only saw like the first 30 seconds of her crying, which caused the child to cry, which caused the audience to cry. I probably would’ve started crying. I mean I knew this was coming me this movie is what started Drew’s career. So if she’s nothing but positive and supportive on it, then the hell with the negativity. She’s literally passing the torch.
I'm watching the new movie now. I was 5 when the original came out and I haven't seen it since 1984. This movie took me back to me remembering the same parts with this little girl having the EXACT same facial expressions... These 2 were great!!

Drew is so crazy emotional and wears her heart on her sleeve. She even got the little girl crying. I will say the kid is an excellent actress and very pretty. The movie however, not so good.
I feel so blessed that we have strong compassionate superhero / talkshow hosts like Drew (and Kelly!), especially right now when the world has become a less than friendly place. Drew as a mom gets how to get down to a young un's level. Sooo much love to all.
