Human and Evolutionary History Documentary | Chapter 7

In 2013, an interesting discovery was made deep in a cave in South Africa by paleoanthropologist Lee Berger and his team that will become one of the most important scientific events of the 21st century. Lee Berger, in his article in 2015; He announced that these bones discovered in the Rising Star Cave in the Malapa valley, registered as "the cradle of humanity" by Unesco, belong to a new human species that was never known before and that would be confusing.
When these fossils were found, it was not known when they lived, and simple guesses were made about them just by looking at their physical appearance. This species, which has many anatomical features of both primitive and modern humans, was named Homo naledi, meaning "Star Man", originating from the cave it was found in.
Like every child, I was a curious and inquisitive child. I can only say that growing up and becoming an adult did not stop me from this sense of discovery. Sea, nature, history and science have been my interests since my childhood that kept my desire to live alive.
