    I have never heard a more enlightening, frank and thorough message about denominations, revealing their unfortunate but necessary existence. Great job, Pastor!

    I’m going to take a listen to this. At the moment, before listening, I Socratic about this. That is, if I can understand that xyz is true in the Bible, then I’ll drop what I thought to be true and keep what’s true. That said, it seems easier to hold and regard something as true than to live by it. And so I’m working on that.

    I understand the reason for this lesson. I am not ashamed of the following name: Mid-Acts Right Division Dispensational KJV Mystery of Christ Knowledge of the Truth Believer. Grace and Peace to all the saints.

    There is only one Gospel to both Jew and Greek in the verse below.
    Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
    What did Paul say below about the New Covenant?
    2Co 3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament (covenant); not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. (The Greek word "diatheke" is translated as "covenant" in Hebrews 12:24 of the KJV, but as "testament" here.)
    2Co 3:7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:
    2Co 3:8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?
    In the passage below Paul talks about the "two covenants" and tells the Galatian believers to "cast out" the Sinai Covenant of "bondage". What is the other covenant Paul is talking about in verse 24, if it is not the New Covenant found in Hebrews 12:24?
    Gal 4:24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.
    Gal 4:25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
    Gal 4:26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
    Gal 4:27 For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.
    Gal 4:28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
    Gal 4:29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
    Gal 4:30 Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
    Gal 4:31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.
    The word "denomination" means to divide. What did Paul say below?
    1Co 1:10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
    1Co 1:11 For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.
    1Co 1:12 Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.
    1Co 1:13 Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?
    What do all New Covenant believers have in common?
    Based on Luke 3:16, and John 1:33, and Acts 11:15-16, the most important thing about the word "baptize" in the New Testament has nothing to do with water. The Holy Spirit is the master teacher promised to New Covenant believers in Jeremiah 31:34, and John 14:26, and is found fulfilled in Ephesians 1:13, and 1 John 2:27. Unfortunately, many modern Christians see water when they read the word "baptize" in the text. Based on the above, what is the one baptism of our faith found in the passage below? How many times is the word "Spirit" found in the passage, and how many times is the word "water" found in the passage?
    Eph 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
    Eph 4:2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
    Eph 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
    Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
    Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

    They (little flock) called Christian's in Antiac? Would that make us (The body of Christ)?

    • @dkgrace6743
      @dkgrace6743 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, I believe the name (used only 3 times) refer to believers in Christ, both the little flock and the body of Christ. Justin mentioned in Acts 26:29 Paul is identifying himself as the name "Christian", that King Agrippa mentioned.

      @@dkgrace6743 Are you sure Paul was BOC? Act 22:11 And when I could not see for the glory of that light, being led by the hand of them that were with me, I came into Damascus.
      Act 22:12 And one Ananias, a devout man according to the law, having a good report of all the Jews which dwelt there,
      Act 22:13 Came unto me, and stood, and said unto me, Brother Saul, receive thy sight. And the same hour I looked up upon him.
      Act 22:14 And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth.
      Act 22:15 For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard.
      Act 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

      @@t.l.c.5510 We don't get our doctrine for the BoC from the book of Acts. We get it from Paul's 13 epistles.
      Eph 5:30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
      Paul includes himself in the BoC. "We are members of His body...".

      @@dkgrace6743 LOL seriously? So if the book of acts tells you that Paul was saved by repenting and being baptized to wash away his sins and the calling on the name of the Lord you just ignore it? What happened to 2 Tim 3:16? It's in the 13 epistles is it not? You believe that the BOC started with Paul and that makes you a Acts 9er but he was saved the same as what Peter taught. In fact, if you actually read Acts 22 you will see that he wasn't even saved when He encountered Christ on the road. You guys really need to stop following men and read your bible.

      @@t.l.c.5510 Paul was not saved by the kingdom gospel you claim. Jesus saved him by grace. Paul was not seeking Jesus, repenting nor did he get baptized to get saved. He was saved when Christ appeared to him. That is why Ananias called him "brother Saul". Notice the order of things:
      Acts 9:17 And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.
      Acts 9:18 And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.
      He was a "brother" before being baptized.
      Paul was not able to be saved under the kingdom gospel b/c he committed the unforgivable sin of blasphemy against the holy ghost when he consented to Stephens stoning.
      1Tim 1:13 Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.
      1Tim 1:14 And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
      That is why he could only be saved by the grace and mercy of God. Not baptism or repenting or keeping the law.
      Question: How does one get saved today in your opinion?
