  • What's up railfan's! I went to Washington D.C. just to watch train's. I started off in gaithersburg Maryland to check out Amtrak 29. A daily Amtrak that runs to Chicago from D.C. union station. It was nice seeing the Marc trains. then I moved over to Lorton to check out Amtraks auto train. then I moved over to the new carrolton station to check out Amtraks north east corridor. next stop was the Virginia ave tunnel. next stop was Alexandria va where I wanted to check out Norfolk southern.

Great video!! I am always torn having to watch Amtrash, needless to say, I'm not a passenger train fan. But you got some good CSX trains, most of which pass by me here in Delaware. M409 (trash train), I031 shortly after, and I032 later on. The intermodals are single-stacked because of the low tunnels in both Baltimore and Philly. The "DO NOT HUMP" boxcar on I032 is a geometry car that has been a regular feature on the I031/32 for months now.
