Get the Valitare valve for your camper. You wont have to worry about the black water valve getting you gross. I may have missspelled the valves name but they can help you at the camper place. Good video.
Thanks for sharing beautiful scenery! I hope the generator is an easy fix! Love that you guys are staying true to your roots that is what I enjoy about yall so much! Stay safe and happy camping!
Blinds closed, but that’’s cuz I’m in a Class C and my pets freak when they see semis flying by! they’re fine in the car, just not in the motorhome, for some reason. Hmmm.
yes definitely blinds open for travel unless of course they are the type that can attach at the bottom, but you don't want them swinging freely for sure.. safe travels.
Love watching you enjoy family life with lots of adventures 👍. Good memories of when my daughter and son were growing up. Just returned from a 9 week trip from WA through Oregon, California and then the desert including lake Havasu. Thinking it will be awhile before all the sand is out of our motorhome. Our cat Max's bed was sandy too when I pulled the cushions out to wash today. Enjoy your family time. Every day is precious 🤗 Anne & Roy
Love Sedona!!! Some of those hikes looked intense!! Verde Ranch is where 1anchoredfamily is currently staying hopefully y’all got to meet them! So glad y’all are getting to have some fun times in AZ and breaking in the new rig 😁
Quick tip: I think you have the fifth wheel too high when you hitch. Both the pin box and the hitch have “ramps”. Be sure to use them. The hitch should actually lift the trailer slightly as you back into it. This prevents the king pin from hitching too high and not getting into the jaws properly. At around 9:20, you can see a large gap between the hitch and pin box as you back in. That’s a no-no :-)
You should have gone on 260 East toward Show Low. There is a road the intersects with 260 called Farnsworth Road. LOL! Seriously. I forget how far past the Ranger's Lookout Station on the Rim. But there are places to camp off the side of Farnsworth Rd (it's a dirt road). Have fun no matter where you go or what you do!!
I had one Predator 3500 generator but after two years and 564 hours it decided to quit at the end of January. I now own two but I’ll fix the older one when I get back home. I was thinking that RV’s should come with prerequisites. Deep pockets for maintenance or your going to need skills like 1. Plumbing 2. Electrical 3. Woodworking 4. Welding 5. Mechanical Skills 6. Computer Skills for the new controls. 🤷♂️😁😁😁
Really ??? A brand new ONAN generator broken already ?? Did the oil dipstick break ? I have the Onan generator in my GD G25 and had issues getting it to stay running and produce power for the rig. There is a breaker fuse that sticks and will not make contact, so you'll have to work the switch up and down and spray contact cleaner so that it gets inside the switch and then it works. Poor design ....
a helpful way of handling dust, sand from the wind, , on ALL vents, a/c covers, etc, its going to be funny, max, size pantyhose, YES MAX SIZE PANTYHOSE. also on your air filter in the jeep, , one of the best filter covers for offroading in the airfilter . i use a K&N washable air filter and the pantyhose over it, , the fine dust or sand can eat up that motor fast, . i know is funny o see on the vents but better then cleaning everyday, less work for the kids and MOM???

I leave my shades open during travel days. You guys need the Valterra waste valves I learned the hard way when dumping lol
Thank you!
We always put additional shutoff valves on the end of the pipes to avoid spillage...
Excellent idea. We put some on a few weeks later
Thanks for bringing us along!
Of course!
Open! Retired firefighter... With a quick look from outside, I can see what's waiting for me inside. 😁🙏💕 OLT
Oh good point!
Blinds open, for sure. We were not good about this in our last RV and the metal kitchen blinds got trashed as a result.
Oh no! Noted. :)

Thank you. John's on it now. Lots of suggestions for this so it must work great
I liked your count down at the beginning. I thought it was part of the video- but then saw the times. Cool. I’m surprised I’m here for this :-)
Glad you made it. :)

Understandable :)
The caves were very cool. Generators 🤦🏼. Hope it’s an easy fix. ✌🏼
It was thankfully!

How fun! That sounds like an amazing trip. Good luck with the sand! :)
Seemed like a fun trip !!!, Hope the generator still has warranty :-)
It does but John figured it out.
Love Sedona!!!

Oh that would have been fun. Sadly we missed them.
yup Shades open, and parking that monster in your yard, way to go!!!
He's a pro now. haha

Thank you. Yes we have discovered that since. It was so windy and we were trying to move quick. yikes. Lots to learn.

What!!!??? We have to find that road.
We just bought a 2018 Heartland Cyclone 4200. So far we love it. Still trying to get it organized
Awesome! Yeah the organizing is slow going for us too.

Truth. But another way to look at is you can gain alllll these skills just by owning an RV. Haha
Next time let me know and I'll bring geni to you!😉Glad you liked the hike. Next time we will for sure meet up!👍
Will do. Hopefully we can get back that way before we head out but if not, we'll be back!
Great video
Thank you

Not broken - just got banged around a bit. :) And that breaker...yeah we found it on our Grand Canyon trip
#253!!! Yaya!!!
Get some valtera external valves and that issue will not happen
Just got some. Just have to install now.

Love it! I have heard about his for vent covers but haven't tried it.
