So I guess I shouldn't worry about brushing up to bushes and tree limbs? As I'm paranoid I will damage something on my new 30' camper , as I already had a tree move into my bumper while setting up yeah in the dark, should know better by now.🥴
@@NoOrdinaryPath i like the new truck hope it is trouble free for you. I really enjoy tour content. Stay safe and stay healthy. Much love from Oklahoma
yes, Teal/ turquoise is the color. I redid my logo to and took the TT off and added a MH. Thanks for the video I can put a few more things on my bucket list for Az for next Jan.
We deal with the Chevy DPF system all the time at work you are probably going to have to take it in and have it serviced or you will eventually not be able to drive the vehicle anymore
Feel free to message me if you have any other questions the best advice I can give you is get it to a dealership as soon as possible before it leaves you stranded
@@NoOrdinaryPath Unfortunately yes it is also never let the DEF tank run out I would not let it go past the 1/4 mark We also have Fords and don’t have any problems with the DPF I let my ford idol all day long and have no issues
Haha right? We took the battery out of the smoke alarm for the next dinner. Haha. And yes, John is pretty awesome and maneuvering that thing. He said, you want to be on the Rim? I'll make it happen. 😎
I got the same message last week on my 2021Dmax, it was the ambient air temp sensor, replaced under warranty.. it had nothing to do with DEF system.. Just a side note, if the outside air temp on your dash is way off from the actual temp outside, its the same sensor beginning to fail
NOP thx for taking us along on your travels. Get a Banks Idash which allows you to reset and keep driving have one on my '15 D'max dually saved lots of $$ avoiding tows to dlr in 75k miles. Happy Camping in your nice rig
Wow! Exciting times for your little family. Thanks for sharing. Question: Do you have bunches of reward cards for grocery stores on a keychain? Would you recommend travelers to get them (reward cards for stores) if you think you will be back in an area periodically?
Those are my kids library cards. 🤪 I don't trust them not to lose them. I do have rewards at many grocery stores but I dont keep the cards - just use my phone number.
There is no way I’d take that truck and trailer up there 😂😂 but you did it. Beautiful camping spot for sure. Oh and it’s always a DEF problem. I got a fleet of DEF problems. 🤦🏼
Chloe was so little when you started traveling! Does she remember life before traveling? How do the kids feel about your experiences? My kids range from 14-3 and we are going to hit the road soon!
Mogollon Rim is pronounced Mug-e-own Rim. I hope I did that something like it should be. If you go south to Ajo, Arizona, Ajo is pronounced Ah-ho. And if you go to Gila Bend, Arizona, Gila is pronounced Hee-lah. Not trying to be picky, but it makes a difference if you have an emergency the dispatcher needs to know your location or town you are near. Pronouncing the name correctly will help save time. Love watching your videos and seeing how happy your family is. Mogollon Rim country, especially a little north of Woods Canyon Lake was always our favorite camping spots. Hope the elk and deer are still plentiful up there. Have fun!!!
Oops! We even Googled it for pronunciation. Hehe. We knew about Aho and Gila. We said Mogollon wrong the whole video 🤦♀️ then. Clearly we are tourists. Haha. Thanks you.
@@NoOrdinaryPath Everyone mispronounces it. LOL! I love your channel and like how you all keep it light and fun, yet very informative too with the places you go. You all are so blessed and making your dreams come true. I can only imagine the stories your children will have to tell their kids about growing up. Stay HAPPY!!

Haha - well we just figure it's part of it. :)
As a truck driver always park and leave yourself an out….but love y’all!
We’ve been to that camp site. Was crazy windy when we were there!
Thank you God Bless
Is that another new truck. What happened to the dodge.
Yes it is. We miss the Ram! But sadly it wasn't big enough to pull our new home on wheels.

Very brave and maybe a little nuts for your rig, but beautiful campsite. That was an entertaining episode.
Oh my freaking god! Your camping site is just spectacular!!! ❤️

Good to see you guys back. Great video.
Thanks. Good to see another video.
More on the way! :)
Geode jackpot location for sure, how awesome!
It was incredible!

Too much idling? Too much daily driving?
Thank you. We'll have it looked at. Haven't had any other warnings or problems since but certainly don't want to be stranded.
Is this a thing? We don't just leave it running but he does drive it to work daily.

You can tell when it is dinner time, the alarm goes off. John awesome job driving that big girl right out to the edge.

Sedona is beautiful, but we found the traffic to be terrible! I wouldn't want to pull our trailer through town, or park it there for that matter!
Agreed. We boondocked and mostly explored the rocks. :)
@@NoOrdinaryPath I was surprised the town was so touristy. I had no idea about the "vortex" thing! 🤣

Thank you for tip and for watching!
One thing your missing out on is solar with all that roof space you are really missing out. You could run your whole rig on solar.
We sure could. Its in the plans. 😁
Like Dennis said get to dealership I worked for GM for 15 yrs seen the dpf issues many times
No other lights or issues since. Probably still take it in before we hit the road full time.
Ohmygosh I was holding my breath watching the turns trying to get to your spot, bravo on getting it done and congratulations on your AZ Pinstripes 😉
I got the pampered chef indoor grill and it works great on top of the stove

Parked right on the edge of the Colorado Plateau.
Great video. Hate those scratches.
Yeah - it was always bound to happen. 😬 Just kind of did it right out of the gate.
I’m not an expert on diesels, but it sounds like it needs to go through a regen.
Take the truck to the dealer for service, that light makes the dealer lots of money and breaks your bank account.
🤦♀️Hoping its not major.
Nice road trip
Looking forward to being full time again.

Haha. We made it! We'll look into the DEF thing.
Probably the 9th injector is dirty. Happened to me last year. Just pulled it out and cleaned it.
Chloe was so little when you started traveling! Does she remember life before traveling? How do the kids feel about your experiences?
My kids range from 14-3 and we are going to hit the road soon!
She doesn't remember much from before traveling. She doesn't dig house life much and can't wait to get back on the road full time again. :)

Just delete it and no more dpf issues. Amazing, then you can travel all over with that every being a issue again
We would like to avoid that if possible.
Love your content. I try to like them all. But, I was reluctant to like this one as I was the 666th like. I really don't like being that.
