Regarding the medals: They will never add something to go beyond the 250 cap. They said they don't want players having a massive surplus of medals so, when a new warbond comes out, they'll have everything instantly bought. However, a conversion of medals would be nice, all excess medals earned turns into idk EXP or like 10 Super Credits.
@@dagdamor1You seem to forget that the “purchasable” currency is extremely easy to obtain/farm in large amounts. 2 hours worth of efficient farming and you can easily get 1000+ SC. I’m currently sitting on top of 3500 SC from farming alone, on top of having purchased all warbonds + buying new daily armor sets. While it does seem like a far fetched idea to convert medals into SC. I do believe it’s possible with the right tweaking, I can’t really find the words right now lol

An idea I had for excess medals: Once we have clans maybe the clan members can pay medals into the clans treasury and then the clan can use those funds to create their own Order for planets they want liberated. If successful everyone whoe participated in that Order who is not in the clan would get paid from those clan funds. This gives a new way for Medals to be spend as well as a new way for the community to shape the course of the galactic war instead of just going where AH wants us to go.
Great idea but the only two problems I see are 1. An overload of orders because pretty much every player will be able to put out an order and it will make orders not as important and 2. What if more people contribute than the amount of medals the clan has? If those two things can be addressed though then this would be sick

For your first point, orders would be group-specific and not global, obviously. The dev team would not want detractions from the main "story".

Frontier senatorial and congressional buildings would actually make sense from a lore perspective, and the planets they are on could have proper townships we have to fight through. Would be nice to see denser and denser populated planets as we are forced to defend closer and closer to Super Earth.
The Intel issue makes a lot of sense, considering i'm barely getting any crashes in Helldivers with a Ryzen CPU. Glad i didn't pick one of those when i upgraded to play this game.
yeah i also have a ryzen cpu and its been much the same for me for exampel the social menu never crashed my game neither did opening the settings ever lower my FPS tho i did have 1 ocassion when i had 33 fps fighting bots (i usualy have 60 capped and 70-80 uncapped

I'm a steam deck user, and have been loving helldivers 2! The only problems I've faced were having multiple actions binded to the same button, for me my ping and push to talk buttons are the same, but other than that it's a great experience!
I primarily play on my steam deck and have had no issues ever. When it launched there was a video on setting tweaks I watched for smooth steam deck play and have had no issues since.
Bots-bugs-bots-bugs-bots-bugs. Missed hundreds of medals because I’m always maxed out a week after a warbond. I play for nothing but EXP and for the cause. Lots of crashes even on PS5. Not sure how many times I’ve been blown under the map and drowned. It may be time for a break for real for real.
I have an i9 13900k and no crashes experienced so far for me, built my PC about 14 months ago now and no issues to date. I also use my PC almost daily for heavy workloads and gaming.
I have a i9-14900KF and in my case, the problem was solved by changing the CPU cooler mode in BIOS (just as JayTwoCents said). I haven't experienced any problem since then
I would really like a mission that went into a cave/tunnel system. Like in the Starship Troopers movie. “What about Stratagems?!?” I know, but that functionality could be solved with the APC or a Cart mechanic.
These Max sample/medal/requisition slips could all be solved by creating expendable purchases that are consumed. That way, you always have something to purchase with them. Give us a one time use stratagem/primary/armor/perk/ship upgrade that's over powered and has to be repurchased every deployment. Make the game fun again! Hitting max medals discourages me from even bothering with major orders or playing at all.
I was having issues on the steam deck. What I did was enter the konsole on desktop mode and increase my memory file swap. It uses 8 gb of my disk space specifically for memory swap because the performance issues were occuring after a short while of playing. Now it's not as bad.
All things considered, the future of the game looks pretty bad. For a live service game it’s receiving tiny amounts of content. The commando was cool but that’s one weapon. We need something to spice up the gameplay loop aside from different flavor text on major orders that all do the same mechanically speaking. I recall that Johan said they had weapons ready to go but are waiting for the right time to implement them story-wise. But… they’re in charge of the MOs. Just make the MO now! A dying playerbase needs some more new content, and holding it back even when it’s allegedly done is kind of a bad idea.

Since they dropped the last patch with the ship up grades I haven’t had any problems with FPS and glitched out games. I play on a PS5 and before then I’d have at least two crushes every session.
After the massive drop in playerbase.. it feels really bad to keep playing and to receive *nothing* as a reward, 0 medals. This is a "negative" gameplay loop.
I only get one crash that freezed the game and forced me to reboot the pc. Otherwise I'm often experiencing that in the middle of a mission with other peoples, somethimes everyone disappears and I'm left alone to finish solo on a way too high difficulty. Or I get send back to the destroyer alone. One time was with a friend in a mission, and got sent back to the destroyer, and my friend had to re-invite me to go back finish the mission. 3 times within the same mission. Also my friend list ingame is locked in an eternal loading loop, making that I can't contact any of them within the game and having them to do the invite and stuff. That bug was there since day 2 of my helldiver journey, and I joined the game just after the sony withdraw, so around the end of May. So that makes near 2 months I can't contact peoples in the game.

I have an intel 14 gen, i5. Guess im lucky. But my rig is relativly new, just ~3 months. Got the upgrade for helldivers. The old one was about 7 years old with 1 gpu upgrade at age 4.
i've also had a session when i had 33fps fightting bots whith my 5600g and rx6600 even though i usualy have 70-80fps at 1080p max hoewer restarting my pc solved the issue
I get not wanted to let people "bank" reasources so they dont kill the potential grind for player for new content, but I wish there was a way to use so I can keep collecting. I was thinking a community chest that people can donate their stuff to that can unlockfree strategems for missions for like a day or something. Not too impactful, just more fun
It sucks the caps for resources are so low, the community has complained several times but they won’t change it as they think it is a mechanism that brings people back to the game. It penalizes those who play the game consistently, they will keep losing the key players…

I first heard about the intel 13th/14th gen issues 2 months ago this usually happens with I9s hoewer I7 K sku parts can also have this issue. This happens because of silicon degradation (as far as we know) which seems to be caused by intel pumping way to much power in into these cpus which speeds up silicon degradation So if you have an intel 13/14th gen cpu and games that didn't use to crash back when you bought your cpu but they recently have started to and the crash report says something along the lines of "the graphics card ran out of vram" 1st try enabling intel base line profile in your bios if this doesn't help then you should try to RMA your cpu they should accept since this is their fault. (though this is probably a just temporary fix a more permanent one would be to switch to AMD
They need to get rid of hit flinch or tone it down significantly. That will make the bots more enjoyable, cause so far, those devastors with the minigun make my screen shake for the entire match. Its not fun at all trying to shoot back with hit flinch
Listen they gotta make a sector that has both factions on them and they’re plotting to work together to take out the Helldivers or if not they’re fighting each other to control the planet and when they see the Helldivers they stop and fight together 🎉
I crashed 3 times yesterday when playing after like 20-30 minutes in a mission. I rage quit after the third time and i couldnt join back. Wasted my time. Im almost level 100 and its so frustrating how they just dont seem to give a shit
I have a ryzen 5000 chip and still experience crashes. It's not a smoking gun but could be a sign. Plus every game will crash at some point because drivers or corrupted memory or W. E.
They should have implemented different color schemes or other customisation payed via warbonds in order to avoid people not earning anything for the completion of a MO (or a mission). Just to keep the warbond economy going.
I’m sure it’s difficult to find things to talk about with daily or near-daily updates on HD2, but why not mention the 0% decay rate on a bunch of automaton planets because of the MO’s success? That seems like a big deal
For those that don't know: in the simplest terms, your CPU is like a taskforce of people - cores are like people, and some taskforce's come with different kinds of people to handle different tasks. The computer has work to be done (threads) and it comes bundled with instructions. Which segments of the work to do, the instructions to do the relevant tasks required, and how it is all split up is determined by a manager, or the scheduler. Determining which worker gets which work, and when, can be complex; sometimes other factors come into play that affect, add bias to or outright override what the manager's directives are. This interruption in orders and how they're carried out is very often manifested as stuttering in games. For the most optimal experience, it is best to tune your CPU in regards to those terms. At stock many builds - especially prebuilt - have bloatware, or their own forms of scheduling/tuning engines, or have bios level settings that need to be tweaked or removed. You will have a much more pleasant experience with your games if you invest the time into learning the mountains of information about what's under the hood and how best one can operate it. It is worth it 100%
The game is unplayable on SteamDeck, the breaking point was the new swamp map, even the PS/5 struggles. I switched to a i7/4060 and it works perfectly in 4K.
Personally, i dont mind the medal and sample cap. If there was no cap then i would have so many that it would basically render the currencies pointless and the progression non existent. We already have a lack of progression for end game.

Yes Intel knows about a serius flaw in intel 13th gen i7 and i9 CPUs. But they are just blaming the mother board manufacturers as usual. I do not want to get down and dirty with the technical detailes, so I'll keep it brief. Many different sources recommending to lower (down-clock) clock speed reducing it's performance. I would raise the question than why would anyone purchase a higher grade CPU if he has to throttle it back, to keep it stable. I think this even intel recommended this during spring??? (maybe my memories a bit foggy, so don't quote me on that) But many player experienced Windows 11 stability issues with these CPUs too. So these flaws affect your whole system not just your game. And it should be resolved ASAP by any decent manufacturer.
weird i have a i9 14900kf and don't crash on helldivers but haven't played path of titans. I've only really notice the ridiculous amount of power this CPU has been requiring and the heat it produces. I won't denied that there is a problem though just cause i haven't experienced it I'm just saying personally I'm fine so far.

Forget the Steam Deck, I'm having performance issues with a 12 core 3900X and RTX 3080. 20-25fps average fighting Automatons last night.
i've also had a session when i had 33fps fightting bots whith my 5600g and rx6600 even though i usualy have 70-80fps at 1080p max hoewer restarting my pc solved the issue
Level 105 , PS5 player and the bugs are bugged , whole planets no respawn , strategems missing ... I've never seen glitches this bad 😔
Me with a 13th gen i9: I'm in danger. That said, haven't experienced any crashes this patch yet.
I have 14th gen i9 and me neither so i guess we are lucky.

yeah a lot of people love the bugs BUT with 0% decrease the few bot player can liberate a few planet too
I get not wanted to let people "bank" reasources so they dont kill the potential grind for player for new content, but I wish there was a way to use so I can keep collecting. I was thinking a community chest that people can donate their stuff to that can unlockfree strategems for missions for like a day or something. Not too impactful, just more fun
It sucks the caps for resources are so low, the community has complained several times but they won’t change it as they think it is a mechanism that brings people back to the game. It penalizes those who play the game consistently, they will keep losing the key players…

I first heard about the intel 13th/14th gen issues 2 months ago
this usually happens with I9s hoewer I7 K sku parts can also have this issue.
This happens because of silicon degradation (as far as we know) which seems to be caused by intel pumping way to much power in into these cpus which speeds up
silicon degradation
So if you have an intel 13/14th gen cpu and games that didn't use to crash back when
you bought your cpu but they recently have started to and the crash report says something along the lines of "the
graphics card ran out of vram" 1st try enabling intel base line profile in your bios
if this doesn't help then you should try to RMA your cpu they should accept since this is their fault.
(though this is probably a just temporary fix a more permanent one would be to switch to AMD

They need to get rid of hit flinch or tone it down significantly. That will make the bots more enjoyable, cause so far, those devastors with the minigun make my screen shake for the entire match. Its not fun at all trying to shoot back with hit flinch
Listen they gotta make a sector that has both factions on them and they’re plotting to work together to take out the Helldivers or if not they’re fighting each other to control the planet and when they see the Helldivers they stop and fight together 🎉

I crashed 3 times yesterday when playing after like 20-30 minutes in a mission. I rage quit after the third time and i couldnt join back. Wasted my time. Im almost level 100 and its so frustrating how they just dont seem to give a shit

I have a ryzen 5000 chip and still experience crashes. It's not a smoking gun but could be a sign. Plus every game will crash at some point because drivers or corrupted memory or W. E.
They should have implemented different color schemes or other customisation payed via warbonds in order to avoid people not earning anything for the completion of a MO (or a mission). Just to keep the warbond economy going.
I’m sure it’s difficult to find things to talk about with daily or near-daily updates on HD2, but why not mention the 0% decay rate on a bunch of automaton planets because of the MO’s success? That seems like a big deal
steam deck user here, ever since viper commandos, my game has been running terribly. during heavy combat i get down to 15fps at times

What's a CPU?
For those that don't know: in the simplest terms, your CPU is like a taskforce of people - cores are like people, and some taskforce's come with different kinds of people to handle different tasks. The computer has work to be done (threads) and it comes bundled with instructions. Which segments of the work to do, the instructions to do the relevant tasks required, and how it is all split up is determined by a manager, or the scheduler. Determining which worker gets which work, and when, can be complex; sometimes other factors come into play that affect, add bias to or outright override what the manager's directives are. This interruption in orders and how they're carried out is very often manifested as stuttering in games.
For the most optimal experience, it is best to tune your CPU in regards to those terms. At stock many builds - especially prebuilt - have bloatware, or their own forms of scheduling/tuning engines, or have bios level settings that need to be tweaked or removed. You will have a much more pleasant experience with your games if you invest the time into learning the mountains of information about what's under the hood and how best one can operate it. It is worth it 100%

The game is unplayable on SteamDeck, the breaking point was the new swamp map, even the PS/5 struggles. I switched to a i7/4060 and it works perfectly in 4K.
I play on Deck. Performance WAS really bad the past few weeks as was said. Much much better last couple days tho..
Personally, i dont mind the medal and sample cap. If there was no cap then i would have so many that it would basically render the currencies pointless and the progression non existent. We already have a lack of progression for end game.

Yes Intel knows about a serius flaw in intel 13th gen i7 and i9 CPUs. But they are just blaming the mother board manufacturers as usual.
I do not want to get down and dirty with the technical detailes, so I'll keep it brief.
Many different sources recommending to lower (down-clock) clock speed reducing it's performance. I would raise the question than why would anyone purchase a higher grade CPU if he has to throttle it back, to keep it stable. I think this even intel recommended this during spring??? (maybe my memories a bit foggy, so don't quote me on that) But many player experienced Windows 11 stability issues with these CPUs too. So these flaws affect your whole system not just your game. And it should be resolved ASAP by any decent manufacturer.
Steamdeck compatibility should not be taking priority over all the issues currently and still plaguing this game.
Well I have intel cpu 14gen (i9) I lately I had 0 crashes. Last crash was 1,5 month ago,
weird i have a i9 14900kf and don't crash on helldivers but haven't played path of titans. I've only really notice the ridiculous amount of power this CPU has been requiring and the heat it produces. I won't denied that there is a problem though just cause i haven't experienced it I'm just saying personally I'm fine so far.

I stopped playing after they took out double mech and the ceo said "dO yOu WaNt MeCh NeRf" but the clown only plays on lvl 6 difficulty. Fk the game and their decissions. I play games to have fun and not suffer and have a bad time.
