I used to plan my visits to Japan focusing only on Tokyo or Osaka. After following this channel, I realized that I was wrong. There are so many cities in Japan are worth to visit. The limitation is my time and money :)
i just want to explore as much of this beautiful land of the rising sun🗾🎎and ride the shinkansen HAYABUSA, KOMACHI, TSUBAME, KODAMA, NOZOMI to the various regions especially riding thru the seikan tunnel to shin hakodate hokuto in hokkaido and imagine wow how they constructed an underwater tunnel to connect mainland honshu and hokkaido island.
Thank you so much for this trip down memory lane! Just over 20 years ago, I was living in Sendai for 3 years. Every corner you turned in this video brought back so many memories because I worked and lived in the downtown area! I used to meet my friends at 34:45 every Saturday night so we could go drinking in Kokubuncho! You passed the English conversation school I worked for, at 1:01:27. You can see the blue sign for it on the left of the screen (Stage Line, 4F). My apartment was at the end of Jozenji Dori. If you go straight through the trees after 35:45 until Nishi Koen, you would reach my apartment. Thanks again! Will you be visiting other places in the area, like Matsushima?
Thanks for your comment. My sister lives in Sendai so I'd like to visit again sometime soon to film in Matsushima. Until, then I hope you enjoy another video shot in Sendai at night which I will upload tomorrow. (The walk route is almost the same as this one though. 😄)

Thank you for this video! I know how much Tohoku needs tourism, so I’m planning to visit Sendai next year. Miyagi looks like a perfect place to stay and I saw a few hotels during this walk. This will make planning my trip much easier. Thank you again 🌸🤩🌸

Fortunately the morning market is open everyday except Sundays and national holidays. I initially thought it's open only in the morning and shot a video at 9am. But after I had lunch with my sister (she lives in Sendai) I saw it was still open and crowded! This video was shot at 2pm and it was still like this crowded. But some stores sold out their specialities so I guess you should go there in the morning. 😄
Remarkable city. No gravity and no litter nowhere. In my city ( Berlin ) everything is painted or covered with signs and tags and every door and traffic sign is smeared with idiotic signs. Japanese people are clean and disciplined. That's why i love Japan.

Lived in Sendai. So Sendai is great place to visit. Kobe too. Yokohama and Kita-Kyushu

First time I have seen a policeman writing a ticket over there. The only other times were for crowd control. Is this normal for Japan?
It's not a rare site for police to write a ticket. I was given tickets a few times too. 😄
