EXCELLENT VIDEO .I watched other vids explaining and are just BOOORIIING !This girl knows what's what ! I like her vids and is no match for any other "pros" congrats! I've been a pprhngr for more than 25 yrs in Houston.except I dont use scissors to cut, just razor blades, olfa knife, level etc.for me the best method to calculate is by sheets.2,3 or 4 sheets by double roll and depending the width of the roll.Good Job ROMAN!!
Great video. I prefer the counting strips method at the end of the video because when I hang wallpaper for people , when I meet them, they usually don’t know what wallpaper they want. And so I will measure each wall. When they call me and tell me that they have chosen a particular wallpaper , I look at the label, discover the with of the wallpaper , it’s pattern repeat , and then divide the number of inches WIDE per wall by the number of inches of each sheet, or “drop” and figure out by the pattern repeat whether the customer will get three sheets per double roll or 2 per double roll. I never deduct for doorways or Windows for various reasons.
did I miss something; I couldn't follow how you got the "the usable square footage" per roll. Got the room size, got the pattern issue, but where 25sq ft and 22sq ft for the different papers come from I have no idea.
yes you did. from min 5:45 explain the footage: 25 sqf footage in a single roll with *no repeat pattrn 22 sqf " " " " " *small rpt.pattrn 18 sqf " " " " " *large rpt. pattrn

Same. Most countries use metric.
