As someone who resides in a 500 sq ft studio with a ton of natural lighting, I love videos like this! You can absolutely create smaller spaces with visual interest, character, and function.
As a former New Yorker, who lived in so many studio apartments across Manhattan, I only wish those apartments had been as charming as this one. I would love to come home to this every day.
Love it! I live in England in a 40m2 house but because it is a house and on two stories a big chunk of that floor area is taken up with the stairs. Nevertheless, I think that when I have finished all the work I only discovered needing doing after I bought it (!!) it will be a little gem. I call it my experiment in living. You can only be in one room at a time and I do not understand why so many people think they need such massive houses? I have seen so many TH-cam vids where Americans are calling their 900sq ft houses tiny. That is standard size in Britain. this apartment is cosy. the green sofa/bed is a brilliant colour. My only suggestion is that the kitchen cabinets need painting - black, dark brown or navy to lose them. Being white they stand out too much and don't go with anything else in the apartment. Lose the kitchen!! Perhaps match the fireplace?
With your beautiful decorating and spacing you have made the place look bigger. Its homey and full of imagination. The way you have placed everything is very thoughtful and no one would trip over anything!!!!
Oh wow... so cool and beautiful. I share his aesthetic, and that living room reminds me so much of my own. Hopefully more people will adopt this colorful and eclectic style in 2024 and beyond. And he's right... "home" is exactly the vibe I get from his studio; and isn't that exactly what everyone's home should do? Bravo.
Disguising the bed is the best solution to maximising the space of a small apartment..Have done this myself and it works..the layering of your art and decor brings warmth and loads of interest..wondering where is the closet space is..guessing it’s well hidden..love the green velvet of the bed/sofa…colour in a well lite space makes for a much happier nest.
350 sq ft in NYC is my studio. Keith does such an engaging description of his patterns, colors, punctuations to attract the eye, will watch numerous times and incorporate much of his work into my tiny maximalist studio. Thanks Keith, very interesting presentation.
What a plather of knowledge he must have in his portfolio of design and detail... clearly for him to execute the most beautiful calming intimate space which to the viewer speaks volumes of comfort, texture and a sense of homeliness and calm. Well done!
I love this! So many great ideas gathered together in one place, the twin bed dressed up as a sofa being my favorite. It transformed the room. Well done! Thanks for the inspiration!
I rarely look at apartment tours by men because usually I find them bland. However, this guy, wow. He did an awesome job decorating his space. I’m walking away with a few ideas.

Might have run the wallpaper over the cabinets and fridge to not break up the space so much. Wondering where all your clothes and shoes are... Great job! My favorite place has been a 600 sq ft efficiency. Not sure I wouldn't get tired of such a small space no matter how beautiful. Generally, for me, the deal breaker is that I would need a terrace or balcony. Regards from Indiana!
Amazing design, especially for 200 square feet. I love the green velvety fabric choice for the twin bed that doubles as a sofa. I live in an 800 square foot place but the bedrooms are small. I did the same thing, instead of a bed I bought a chair that turns into a bed so I could have the appearance of a much larger room that doesn't look like a bedroom. A twin bed doubling as a sofa would have been a much better option as the chair bed isn't that comfortable. lol 🧚♀
@@keithcarrolldesign I'm very eclectic myself - I mix and match fabrics and old and new furniture and I was definitely feeling the vibe of your place, it's very beautiful.
I do LOVE your place…have you thought about putting a small bookcase under part of your bar from a yard sale…..love the bird wallpaper….the green sofa is gorgeous….Thankyou soooo much for sharing with all of us…hugs carolyn from Columbus GA
Would it be possible to find out about the fabric on the sofa bed? The colour, texture and sheen are gorgeous. I've always wondered which fibre makes the best velvet for a high-use seat. The apartment is the perfect blend of comfortable living and good taste.
“OMG! This countertop/serving bar/cocktail bar/work station/stationary client meeting locale is amazing!” *literally pivots his body 180 degrees “And here’s the kitchen…” LOL

You should absolutely be in love with your own space, and none need be the same. Diversity is the sun. For me, which is meaningless to anyone else, I'll pass on every aspect. Nothing pops to my own eye or better, my heart. It seems a rehearsed space, a typical try. Somewhere scaling the curb of Alex Papachristidis and my attention is held.
Must be nice to have been given the inheritance of what your ancestors stolen. You wouldn't be where you are if it weren't for them. You should pray and thank them everyday
Such a warm and welcoming home! Love all the colors and details, especially the placement of artwork and books. The whole space delights the eye!
We are so glad that you loved it!

More common than most think. As a New Yorker, I can’t tell you how many of these well decorated/curated tiny apartments I’ve seen over the many years.
New Yorkers get it! Thanks for watching!
I love it! Immensely better than a new-construction home with no unique character.
Tiny space with big impact! Color and art collection. Comfy fabrics. Wonderful wallpapers. Love it!
Thank you for watching! Glad you enjoyed it!
Love everything especially the wallpaper. The place lives big, amazing what little space we really require!
I agree. Gorgeous wallpaper.

THIS is the eclectic maximalism i want to see more of. I feel like most of what i come across now are garish colors and wavy lines
We love his style too! Thanks for watching!

Thanks for sharing Keith! Love seeing how people make the most of their studio apartments ❤🧡💛💚💙
Love how he turned a basic standard apartment into a masterpiece ❤
Stunning. Thank you for the video!
What a beautiful studio apartment. So cozy and comfortable. Amazing how many items all work so well together. Thank you so much for sharing.
You are so welcome! Thanks for sharing!
For just a 200 sq. ft. apt. it's gorgeous and luscious with fabulous items that give bohemian maximilian vibes. I love this apt.
Yes! Keith is a master of maximizing in style.
I want that green sofa

Me too!! 😂
Adore this space.😊
It's like a little jewel box. Not really into maximalism, but that space feels peaceful and luxurious. Love it!

It really is! Thanks for watching!
Love this to the max! Beautifully appointed in everyway. Comfortable, forever classy and up town chic.
Thank you so much!
Really loved the single bed--disguised as sofa. Makes the space look like there's a bedroom somewhere in the apartment.

i need a sofa bed like that
Everyone could use one of those! Thanks for watching!
I really wanted to see the bathroom...
How much is that 200 sq. ft. apt?
Great question... NYC is not an inexpensive place to live! We love how Keith maximized every square foot!
Beautiful apartment, but where does he eat his meals?
Great question... the kitchen counter doubles as a nice spot for meals so maybe there!
Beautiful but a little cluttered for the tiny space. Feel little overwhelming.
i just could not imagine not having a bedroom, wonder what he pays for rent
To many objects, books etc that it’s hard to see anything in this tiny space

Bathroom? Be a great Air BnB rental if NYC hadn't cracked down on it..
OOPS 240 SF! LOL
That music my goodness 😢
The worst foyer ??!!
Too many things in such a small space. The wall paaper and funiture is beautiful but just too many books and knick-knacks.
It's a house, so people live in it,
