  • This video goes over the very basics of how to wire in a set of eBay a USB interior led kit using a 12v to 5v USB adapter into your Skoda Fabia 5J (Mk2)
**If you have an aftermarket radio with a USB on the back you can just attach the LED's to that USB without the need for a USB Adapter**

    USB Adapter - www.ebay.co.uk...
Tools needed are a Torx 20 Screwdriver and a trim removal tool.

Thanks for this , I have installed it on my 2009 model and it’s worked out really well

Can you talk me through it in a bit more detail, please? For example, what extension is on the positive wire and what fuse did you use? Thank you!

@@AN-ww4gc I wired the USB adaptor to a bridge connector on the fuse box. You take out the fuse then plug in the tap in adaptor in the space and put both fuses in the holder. You just need trial and error to find which one only powers up when the ignition is on. The earth , I used one of the bolts on the side of the dash under the cover. You now have a USB socket behind the radio to plug them into. I have a Kenwood radio , so there was much more room.

@@adlam97531 Thanks a lot. I have the same model of car as the one in the video, so was planning on using the same fuse.
Do you know what amp fuse I need?
      Sorry to be a pain.

@@AN-ww4gc I would think you will not need any more than a 10 amp

@@adlam97531 Thank you very, very much. I'm installing footwell lights so, if you've done it already, I will follow your advice. Thanks again for taking the time to answer.

How’d you fit the digital climatronic and the MFSW mate?

Climatronic is a factory option on the Elegance spec fabia and not retrofittable.
MFSW was retrofitted by a Briskoda member (Eddie-NL), he made the loom for me and fitted for £80. The wheel was £35 and I used my old airbag. - The guide to fitting a mfsw was found on the polo 6r forums of the time.
