Today we are taking a look at how well Coral Island runs on the Steam Deck!

This game is excellent if anyone enjoys cozy farming games. The capture from the Steam Deck visually to me when I watch this feels like the frame rate is "slow" or its dropping or not capturing all frames, which may only be due to capturing the content from the Steam Deck. If the game played fine for you then a Deck is an impressive bit of kit. Thanks so much!

This seems to be the general consensus, so I'll probably keep going~ 💚
I'm only at the beginning of this video so maybe you figure it out later on or don't care to do it but - you can strafe walk by holding the Left Bumper button which makes it easier to target the plants when watering (or target any tile anytime). Another controller tip/issue I came across recently idk if they've fixed or not: if your trying to put an insect bait/perfume thing inside a trap the pop up only tells you A for interact which does nothing. I had to press X in order to put it in the trap which was not noted on screen in any way.
OMGOSH! Thank you so much for the tips! I did NOT figure out that you could straight walk using the bumper and now I feel the need to 100% go and try it out! 💚
Only watched a part of this, but I love this game on my deck. I think it plays really well.
@@MistyKittens It really does! It plays better on the Deck than on my gaming laptop!
It does lag some on deck but I agree that I find it better than my pc.

@@Watchamocalit I got mine before the OLED was out otherwise I would have gone for that one~ Just dtarted really using it though and I am loving it!!!
Gotcha! You might want looking into the steam game recording feature that was released into the beta update channel recently and works on steam deck, not sure if it could improve performance over using a capture card but worth a shot.
