Mistria is something I’m excited about the most in the update and so far it’s pretty cool and you get to ride on mounts finally. but hopefully in the second major update next year, they can have a little slider in the gameplay options menu or you can make the time very slow or very fast if you like a challenge like how coral Island let you do.

Kotzy~~ Hi! Me again! So I was watching Graveyard Keeper and my roommate just walked through the room shoeless. His feet have stink problems. Like I'm pretty sure they're an OSHA health violation type problems. Anyway, while trying not to die from the lingering fumes my brain was like, "What's stinkier than stinky feet? *tiny lightbulb* Decaying stinky feet. Accidentally chopped off with an axe feet." Didn't the note by the severed foot mention a smell on the wind or something like that? Could the lucky severed foot be stinky enough to make the Hag of Bleakwood say hello? Anyway, just some ponderings. Tonight's thoughts brought to you by the letters "P" and "U".

Kotzy~~!! I hope you see this! I very much like this game so I've been watching any content creator's videos on it. Some things I have learned that I wanted to pass on in case you didn't know. 1) If you leave the stumps on your farm after cutting trees, they will regen faster. They'll still regen if you take the entire thing down, but slower without a stump. 2) If you enter build mode by pressing B (?I think it's B...) on your farm, you can actually click on the bigger green trees and move them! Some creators were repositioning them closer to the farmstead's fencing so they wouldn't obstruct the playing view. 3) Kind of a spoiler so: *elevator music of (hopeful) concealment* If you haven't located the blacksmith's hammer yet, go to the southern fence of the village on the way out to the marshes where the guard is. Go left from the guard until you reach the lake. The hammer is in a tree in front of the lake and it's pretty visible if you are actively looking for it.

This music reminds me of those otome game apps I used in highschool 😅😅

Hop seeds for beer can be bought from the miller, and the swamp witch sells alchemy recipes daily. But it's totally fair to look stuff up for this game!

I think i perked up hardest when I noticed a new Saturday Market vendor in Fields of Mistria. Now I'm curious to see if crystal ball person and the sixth vendor will be in the update or if that was yet another future content teaser. I'm glad that the Stardew update is hitting everyone so soon. As a PC player I understand the yearning/frustration when I see something be console exclusive and just want to yell, 'no gimme' at it. For new games I'm most excited for Farmagia. I adore the visual creator Hiro Mashima and have read all his stuff so a new IP yes please! I think after that my excitement is for Critter Cafe and Trash Goblin the most this month. I don't know why I'm not more hyped for Luma Island, but I'll definitely watch you play it and I'm interested in the job system. Everholm was higher in my interest level but ironically I'm hesitant about fully released farming games this year in particular. Critter Crops was so buggy and softlocked me three times before I gave up to wait for updates and then near as I can tell the dev pushed two patches and called it and then Sunnyside was...a bit of a hot mess that also looks barely touched. I'll definitely watch people play Everholm first to see if it's in a stable full release and if it is as polished as the trailers I'll jump right on that one. Thank you for the round up Kotzy!

Ok, my favorite part of this was definitely character creator 😅 The art style reminds me of an older game called Viewtiful Joe!

So cute. The random recipes in the overworld and the chibi character style really reminds me of Fae Farm and more importantly my fave part of Faefarm the exploring. Also those critters are precious babies. I'm not sold on the minigames though, the impression I'm getting is that there seems to be flexibility in how much cafe vs critter stuff a player has to do, which is perfect if I can ignore most of the cafe and just squeeze critters all day. Definitely going to watch you play the full release to see the balance between cafe and critter before I decide, but certainly going right on my wishlist. Thank you for playing the demo Kotzy!

Thanks for playing the demo and showing it off. I agree with your assessment 100% of it feels like it's boring-chill with super cute art. This for me is a sub $10 purchase personally, adjusted for inflation I'd buy it in the 5-7 dollar range or on sale for that price point. Level up Kotzy you helped me make an informed purchasing decision and I appreciate that immensely!

The combat reminds me of Enter the Gungeon and Moonlighter a little bit! That bubble tea dance animation at 15:05 is sooooo darn cute! 🧋🧋🧋

The artsytle gives me Moonglow Bay vibes so much with its chunky pixelated look. The cleaning mechanic and environmental element is really appealing. I am a little worried that this alone is not going to be enough so although this is a very short demo - I do hope the full release offers a few more gameplay elements to keep players interest and desire to continue going. Thanks so much for showing the demo
