Up your relationship with Alloy for a better fishing rod. Alloy didn't take long to get a better rod once I started talking to him. I make it a point to talk to every single person at a store every morning. They all get better ingredients/tools and I can look for recipes. Also, the hunter is in the west. 1/2 moon shaped house with blue windows on the map. Few times talking and she has a better bow. I actually like this better than Fields and the reason is it isn't farming focused and it is focused on cooking/running a restuarant. I play sooooo many games that are focused on farming that I'm a bit burnt out on them and am glad for something different. And I have waited for this game for over a year, watching Pixel Architect (Noah) design the game in his videos. I will play Fields at some point (already bought), but will probably wait until it's full release.

I have over 2300 hrs is SDV and have completed it to perfection 4 times, almost done with the 5th time. My favorite game. Every six months or so I play again. It is my go to when I'm tired of all the other games I have. The music alone gives me a sense of peace. It's like coming "home."

This was hilarious... Though I've never played it, this is giving me "Untitled Goose Game" vibes where you just run around and mess with people 😂 The fiery poops where my favorite!

We're 37 minutes into this video and the only task you've been able to complete so far is picking up trash on the beach. SO MUCH TALKING. Why in gods name is the setup for this game taking so long?? You are given 2 clear tasks, remove mosquitos and remove snake, Oh but wait sorry you actually can't do those things Haha open your inn anyway! This is what the devs mean by "The Secret Art of Innkeeping"? The whole premise of the game is that you're supposed to be competition to the only other hotel in the area, and this is how you compete? A snake infested bug riddled shack with holes in the wall? This game makes no sense at all. 1/10 would not recommend. Your video was great Kotzy you did an excellent job muddling through a completely unbelievable story wrapped with bad controls and almost no actual game to play

So glad you got to try and compare the two versions. The frame rate is definitely a lot higher on the PC version! For a game that has you flying around a 3D world and spinning the camera freely - it really is important that its a smooth experience. The Switch version FPS was just too low which is a shame and hopefully a patch can optimise this to be better in the future.
