  • I havent really listened to Whitechapel since Our Endless War but this song really cought my attention again. I like where this is heading.
As always have I transcribed what I am playing myself and for many parts I just cant hear what the bass or the guitars are doing so I just guessed haha!
Looking forward to the upcoming stuff.
Main tuning: Drop G (but also drop G# and drop F#)

Awesome cover and bass tone! This is the only cover on TH-cam that I can find out this song and want to learn it on guitar. Can’t believe there’s not everyone covering it and not sure if there’s any official tabs anywhere. I’m guessing u figured it out by ear?

Hey! Yes, I have done my best to transcribe it by ear. It's probably kind of correct but it's not the most important thing if it isn't. 😊

Do Dingwalls just sound that good by themselves? Like direct into the amp with no pedals/effects?

You don't het this tone if you just plug it in no but they sound amazing acoustically and the raw signal is super clear and powerful. Perfect raw signal to create a tone out of.

No. You just have that clarity potential for the low end. You still need the usual tone shaping either with plugins or actual pedals/preamps/compression/drive etc.
