When I was removing the alternator I saw the little red pigtail wire attached to the alternator and it brought back memories when I was initially dealing with this.
It's been awhile since I've done this, but I pretty sure that you just hook it onto the bolt that the wire from the battery connects to (The big three wiring harness)
You mentioned replacing replaceing the AC condenser. What is it doing to need replacement? My 99 Camaro only holds refrigerant for 2 days and I cannot find the leak. Any ideas?

Where does the ground strap connected to, the one that's boltes to the chassis in front of the alternator
