Lol Jinjer is ukrainian proggy djent groove metal with complex time-signature maze, polyrhythms and multi-genre blending. They are one of the most talented 4-pieces and Tati is one of the best overall metal vocalists and lyricists in the business. Welcome to Jinjer. Tatiana is one of the most versatile singers performing today. The band is a collection of amazing musicians. This band is well worth your time to explore. I agree with many of the commentators, "Perennial" live at Wacken 2019 is a great follow up to this video. Well DONE (Subbed)
"Yes i make you sandwiches" 😂😂😂😂 I laughed so hard. I hope you continue your jinjer journey, have fun and enjoy the ride. But most importantly, fasten your seat belt.
I really love you guys and fact is, like many people, I'm both fond of Ren and Jinjer. The latter is really a band to explore, they're absolutely stunning. You should go for Perennial (live in Wacken) and maybe "Teacher Teacher" (mov). You will love it. Take care and cheers from France.
subbed! ----hello from germany, I've been a musician myself for 40 years in different genres, but when I heard and saw Jinjer for the first time 8 years ago, since then my musical world changed... I love the band, their music the lyrics > everything!!!!!! this band is absolutely extraordinary, they have developed their own musical style, not only because of tati the singer, without this excellent band Tati would not be what she is today, they are all phenomenal! maybe next: JINJER - Perennial (Live at Wacken Open Air 2019) | Napalm Records thanx for your emotional reaction!!! > maybe you can make your sound a little better..... warm greetings from the german musician
Just so you guys know there are literally hundreds of female fronted bands that do this. She's just by far the best. You have spirit box infected, rain. Unleash the archers and many other bands that have females that are absolutely incredible. But this rabbit hole by far is the most fun For me, at least have fun, exploring it.Looking forward to seeing more
You are probably ready to try Spiritbox's "Holy Roller" (Official Music Video.) When you have recovered, watch the video of Harper covering that song at the age of 9...
She's not the only one, I recommend checking out the Canadian group Spirit Box and their singer Courtney LaPlante and the Japanese group Hanabie and their frontgirl Yukina.
I laughed so fricken hard this whole video lmao. Y'all remind me of the futurama episode "death by snu snu" where fry kinda whimpers something like " I'm scare-roused...." lmao. Stop making me laugh, dang it, my face hurts right now
Hi, Misters Haz! To explain a little, Tatiana and similar singers _don't_ do this sort of 'screaming' with their Vocal Cords. Instead, they use the Laryngeal Folds that lie a little higher in the throat. Your LFs protect your delicate vocal cords below them from accidentally inhaled food, etc, are (hopefully) what you use when you cough, and can add 'roughness' to your voice, but they have much less precise nerve and muscle control than the VCs, so they can't produce 'tuned' notes. Anyone can learn to do this, but it takes practice and preferably supervised training (though Tati taught herself). Tatiana is giving the untuned 'roar' some colour by shaping her mouth cavity, using mask resonance, and other techniques which are also used in 'normal' singing. Because she isn't roaring with her VCs, she can switch back and forth to them without her 'normal' voice becoming rough. Trying to scream like this using the Vocal Cords could cause temporary injury, and if persisted with, permanent damage.
You have chosen exactly the wrong moment to discover Jinjer, because they are dropping singles ahead of the new album release. The latest video is "Green Serpent."
She actually did not audition. Tatiana and Roman, the guitarist, are both from Gorlovka Ukraine and Eugene the bassist from a nearby town. Tati was well known to the local musician's and bands and her own band, a reggae band, had just broken up when the singer for Jinjer left the band and they were in desperate need of a replacement. They asked her to fill in for one show and she ended up staying. Roman and Eugene were recruited shortly afterward. As hip hop musicians you might enjoy "Teacher, Teacher" preferably the official video but also check out the Alive in Melbourne version as well. They are primarily a live performing band and prior to Covid were doing 150+ shows a year. Welcome to one of the very best metal bands in the world today...
@@kirillzaslavskiy4616 Sorry but you are wrong. The was an excellent video on TH-cam posted by a Ukrainian (who I hope is well considering the war) that was taken down of Tati doing a set of Nirvana songs in a Reggae style in a small club in Gorlovka. Eugene was in the video (he was dating Tati at the time) as well as Dmitriy Oksen and Oleksandr Koziychuk. Yes; she was in Prophecy but here she is with her main band: th-cam.com/video/2nIOxG-h4t0/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=gadingmaartein
@@mikedanger6323 About this video. Russian is my native language. In this video they do cover on old soviet song from 1987. It`s look like they are performed at restaurant and sing songs on request. You may find this song on TH-cam : Браво "Старый отель" (remastered sound)
Now you know why Emily from Linkin Park is a bad singer. Every good metalcore band has a better singer than Emily or Chester. Jinjer themselves describe their style today as prog metal with djent, but above all it is a lot of Jinjer. Metalcore Bands: ANKOR - Darkbeat [OFFICIAL VIDEO] - Chapter 1 FUTURE PALACE - Uncontrolled (OFFICIAL VIDEO) Architects - "Doomsday" Electric Callboy - Hypa Hypa (OFFICIAL VIDEO) Jinjer was founded in 2008 in eastern Ukraine. When the civil war supported by Russia broke out in 2014, they fled to western Ukraine. In 2015 they lost their last founder and in the past the band could be embarrassed by asking why Jinjer is called Jinjer. No one from the current line-up was involved in the name choice. Today they say 2008 was the date of their founding because that was the year Tatjana Shmayluk took over the microphone. Pisces had their breakthrough in 2017. When Russia attacked the country in 2022, they were in Kiev and supported the defense of the city on the civilian side. They then went on tour with special permission because no man was allowed to leave the country due to the general mobilization and collected donations for Ukraine. The current single: JINJER - Someone's Daughter (Official Video) | Napalm Records
Welcome to Jinjer. That's all her. Perennial live at Wacken is good but my favorite performance is Pit of Consciousness live in Kiev.
Jinjer is one of the best rabbit holes on TH-cam. Tatiana is one of the most talented front woman in metal today.
