This has to be one of the best channels on this site. No crazy in your face product placement, no boring script reading all throughout the video, just a genuine guy doing what he does best and hanging out.

Steve, I grew up watching my maternal grandfather and two uncles as they repaired shoes. They’ve passed on, but I inevitably think of them when I watch you, and I say to myself, “Wow! My folks would’ve surely enjoyed watching Steve.” Sir, thank you for showing us your craft and doing it with a sense of humility and perfection.
please do more customer reaction vids. They really make the vid. After all, you are creating stories. and the customer reaction is the happy ending we all gain so much satisfaction from.

For what I can tell most men have no idea what a great shoe is. Im 67 and just got a pair of Allen Edmond's. I kinda see now why women like shoes so much, it changes your attitude. But it could be addictive, so you got to watch out !!

So, here’s what I see: a person can find a size/style that they love from AE or other make, and then have work like this done to make the pair on par with bespoke craft! All for a value price that is probably 1/4 to 1/6 what it would have required to go truly bespoke from beginning. That’s awesome!

Though even moreso, it's his totally natural uninhibited wry witted banter.
There's so little of this today.
I am over 50, so maybe Steve manner is more familiar and comforting to me, than young pups.

Get your self some Fray Check, Steve. I use it when sewing on buttons to seal the threads, or to stop a bit of fabric that is already fraying, like on a cuff. It’s watery and clear and it dries clear. Works great.
