Thanks for a good reference video. I am doing that bridge just as a static display. My Uncle was in the 99th Infantry. The first "complete" Division to cross that bridge relieving the 9th Armored Infantry & manning that bridgehead through the following days beyond it's collapse. He had a large piece of slate that he pulled over his foxhole during air & artillery attacks. Later getting lost alone in the Black Forest for 4 days. The 3rd day, he spotted something odd in the forest. Approaching cautiously he found a dead German laying on the ground with his arm sticking straight up in the air. In his hand was a piece of black bread. My uncle took & ate the bread. He told me, "that was the best bread I had ever had in my life."
@@jonimendes6779 the actual bridge is double track. I have bought an HO bridge that Is close but, not exact. It is a single track & the trusses are wrong. I am making my own trusses from Plastruct & I found a bridge made from plastic from Faller to build from. I am good at scratch building.
@@danielbritton8588 that is awesome good luck with the project! That is why i am quitting ho scale and moving to n scale , you can make bridges and the layout look bigger, you could probably run double n scale track on that single ho track bridge
