I doubt any singer, male or female (or with parts missing) has been able to sing Hasse's coloratura arias in tempo and in tune together since Faustina Bordoni gave them a whirl. Lezhneva tries her best, but must leave the field defeated like every other live singer I've heard trying to perform Siroe et al. Of course, I don't know if Bordoni could sing the stuff Hasse composed, but since she married him in 1730 I'll assume that Hasse had the good taste not to out his wife's vocal deficiencies on a public stage. I'll definitely give Lezhneva credit for being a brave trooper and getting on stage to sing in this opera in the first place. Her coloratura has improved quite a bit since 2015, so I'd like to hear her give this aria another try.

Really? is there going to be a DVD? First a received a replied from Cencic facebook page, few days and months after the premiere, telling me that there were no plans for a video release.
