The one who's talking (interviewed person), is rarely looking the other person in the eyes, and the one who is listening (interviewer) is almost starring at him.

Its hard to think or respond to a question when your looking someone dead in the eyes. The interviewer knows what he's gonna say most of the time.
IME men often talk this way. the one doing the talking is busy thinking and visualising their story or explanation. maybe with a camera on it makes one think more when speaking

Chasing Truth -- I read bang and a few other books and used to read his blog. He's had a huge influence on my life.
I still enjoy his work to some extent but his tone and attitude often gets in the way. He seems frustrated with women that he views as entitled to -- he also has a pretty heavy libertarian kind of political attitude that seeps into a lot of his writing -- he seems himself as some kind of individualist ayn randian hero up against the world from my perspective. I used to be a libertarian too ...then I started to understand the Unconsious mind more mainly through the work of Sam Harris Bruce hood and Leonard mlodinow. Once I saw that we are essentially irrational creatures that are unconsciously driven, the idea that we make conscious rational decisions in life free from outside influence came apart. Once I realized the illusion of self (from the perspective of neuroscience) I realized individualistic philosophies not only are just wrong they also cause people a lot of unnecessary suffering.
I am often frustrated with women..still and very often. But I no longer blame women exclusively -- in my college years when I was a libertarian my world view was more narrow. More black and white. More centered on me. From my perspective I no longer see things so narrowly. So I prefer people like coach Corey Wayne --
To be clear I'm not saying roosh isn't correct in a lot of what he says, but I disagree with a lot too and his tone and attitude really repulses me
Thanks. I just think some of his advice is pretty good in terms of how to approach women. It's a nuanced argument..what I can say is that I no longer read his work. I remember reading a lot of it when I felt personal anger towards women. Not saying all guys who read his work have anger towards women but I did -- it made me more entitled towards sex. I remember feeling a lot of bitterness when his advice and words rang hollow for me. I do believe a lot of guys treat him like a demigod of game and he relishes that power. But you are correct in general his work is destructive to the extent that it is misoginistic.
