I questioned the chicken broth additions wondering if it was going to stand up when serving it (like lasagna). But it looks great, and standing up didn't really matter for it is a "bake". Funny thing is, The Little Lady and I had a Turkey Dinner at a diner yesterday. We both had to lay down after that. Looks great. I never pre/par-boil noodles for any lasagna kind of dish. Always appreciate the upbeat/animated voice!
Yeah it was definitely more casserole. I wasn't expecting it to stand like lasagna. The "style" part was only cuz it's got similar ingredients. It turned out pretty good. I had always boiled noodles for dishes like this. Even lasagna noodles. But I saw something somewhere, probably Facebook, that there was a trick to not boiling. Now that I've tried it. I may never boil them again when baking a dish like this.
Welcome back to "Happy Place Eating." Too-day! I watched the mouthwatering preparation and enjoyed it. But, I'm sad I don't have any! I have made pre cooked pasta in the oven too! Stouffer's Frozen Lasagna does count, right? 🤣🤣
I love the ease of it. I know it's not hard to boil a noodle, but it's just an extra step that I don't like if I'm just going to toss it with other stuff and shove it in the oven lol.
It turned out really good. Honestly, I used the turkey in case it came out icky. Then it wasn't a waste of better more expensive meat lol. Plus I wanted to get that out of my freezer. It had been in there a bit and was tired of seeing it 😂
Hey Felix, this looks amazing sister! I do a baked spaghetti that is to die for and I don’t boil the noodles first. I definitely need to get a video of that I guess uploaded at some point. I would definitely like to try some of that turkey pasta lasagna style dish you made. Also, I’ve been enjoying the way you are filming your plating end shots. Very professional in my humble opinion! Not that they weren’t before I just am noticing something different… I notice weird things like that I guess!😂
I appreciate that you noticed I was trying something different. I may do it more. I don't like doing the taste test at the end. I may still do it here and there, but I prefer this way for now.
interesting meal option. I've never seen anything like it before. Looks good. Have a great day.
It turned out pretty good.
Nice recipe. Looks yummy.
Thank you very much

Well it's actually turkey. But it did turn out great.

I really love eating turkey because of how lean it is, so I love the idea of using it in a pasta dish. Looked really delicious!

LOL it only counts for you. Everyone else has to make theirs from scratch 😂
This would be a good dish to made after Thanksgiving or Christmas with leftover Turkey. Looks good.
It would be good using leftovers.
Another delicious looking recipe! Pasta anything is always a good go to delicious meal 😉Love me some starches lol.
Right! Me too! I'm not all about cutting out my pastas or breads or sweets or really anything that I love 😂
Wow, that actually looks freaking tasty.
It actually was pretty darn good. I was very worried the noodles would come out crunchy lol. But they didn't.
The only noodles I have not precooked are the lasagna noodles that say ypu don't have to preboil!
Love the thought of not preboiling noodles!! 💕👋
It does seem to take a bit longer, but the ease of it makes it almost worth it.
Great recipe thanks for sharing. Yes I have used the no boil noodle trick several times and it lends a better flavor doing it that way

It looks really good!! I've never done a pasta dish like this. Nice recipe! 😊😊
Thanks. It turned out pretty good. I like that it was easy.

Thanks so much. It was.
The only thing I don't like is ricotta lol
😮 Really? Hmm... Do you like cottage cheese? You could use it.
