Hey @MontanaRockMom I have to comment on here because I don’t have an account on the Bay. Mom I was so shocked by the Package I bought. Everything was so stunning.. I do love my Agate’s and the Petrified Wood literally took my breath away (the one we both liked). I will continue to do Adventures with you and build my collection. Have a blessed day 🙏🏻💜
So jealous of those hunting areas. Love going on hunts (vicariously) with you thanks! 😊 good girl Lola... PS...I am getting better at find the rock! Rock on 🤘
I love the time you spend on really showing the rocks so we can admire them and of course your enthusiasm and happiness when you find a beauty makes me appreciate your adventures even more 🥰
That second one you found was amazing! Also the third from the last one with the plumey bands and the final petrified wood. I’d love to know if you’re selling those. Love watching you hunt! The Cookie Monster looks more like the squirrel from ice age to me. 🤣
Great video Montana Rock Mom! I watch Agate Angler and Katydid as well. You seem to know a lot of terminology I never knew in my agate hunting fifty years ago, suggesting maybe you are a geologist. If so, and even if not, don't hesitate to expound on some mineral esoteria in your presentation. For instance, is any of the petrified wood of known wood types? In Colorado, at the Florissant fossil beds, giant petrified Sequoia stumps have been exposed in excavations. I'm a wood nerd and would love to know that. Also, I have collected Jasper, but don't know of it's origins. Don't hesitate to flash your skills and knowledge for the rest of our benefit. I'd also enjoy seeing lapidary processing if you are doing that. It's fun as you well know to anticipate and then see, what brilliance lies within through lapidary faceted windows. Even when they turn out to be duds 😂. You have good video composition and storytelling skills. Maybe your video posting will lead to your discovery as the Bill Nye of rockhounding and a seven figure income...maybe not. The fun is in discovery anyway, not glory. Rock on MRM!
Wow, Montana RM, what a great day rock hunting!! Amazing agates!!! Thank You for taking us along. Boy can you spot them, it makes me smile with each one you find. Love the petrified wood too!!! 😊
6.32 Drogon snack?🤔💖 Sorry I'm not even waiting till the end of the video with my comments 🤣🤣 I'm just so happy to see you out and about again finding spectacular rocks. You just have an amazing eye for the beauties. I could watch hours of this. Nothing like it exists in Ireland. Please forgive me filling up your comments...
Wooooo hooooooo rocks in the hand are better than rocks in the head, let me tell you, you have some excellent pieces, one of the best agates with the red in it, those glow ruby red in the sun…
That first agate looked like an eyeball! Gorgeous! Oh wow! The one you found in the water was just amazing! So colorful and little dendrites! So that eye agate was that a coral fossil or just a unique agate? That yellow and black agate you found and while you were spraying that one off, I was yelling at the TV, the one above it! It was a lovely banded orange and yellow and white agate! But you didn't hear me! Lol! Oh well! And that colorful agatized wood you found at the end was just amazing! You always find the prettiest, most colorful rocks! You obviously don't hunt the same stretch of Yellowstone that Theo does! Is that his your private property? Because your rocks are so much better than anything I've seen him get! Everyone you got was so amazing! And Lola is getting so big! Such a good girl! Thanks Kim! ❤
The one with all the circle dots... orbicular agate/jasper... kind of like ocean jasper... we don't have a whole lot of that stuff out here. It's very rare to find- I love that stuff!
Coming up your way 1st week of June to rockhound and look for fossils....however im not familiar with river access....im staying outside of Billings at a place in Worden.
What can ya say but wow. You always find such amazing rocks. I just noticed you have an ebay. Not sure how long you have been selling but man I wish I had seen that before. Awesome hunt Kim.
Lola is so beautiful! Plus all the gorgeous rocks you found. You have a great eye! Those green jaspers were magnificent! Actually, everything was so pretty!
Oh my goodness those are soooo beautiful I love your videos thanks for sharing I keep saying wow too oh yes I can see it lol thank you again stay safe god bless see you on the next hunt
I love your beautiful finds and watching your outings makes me think I'm there a d yet still wishing I was there. Lola was having a great time too. Love it.
You always make my day. I start smiling when I hear your voice and a bit more when I see you and even more when you introduce Lola. My face hurts. THEN you start finding the most incredible rocks. Agate, jasper, pet wood and a couple of beautiful "I don't know." rocks. Go get your hands warm and then, cut, cut, cut! Can't wait to see you next time. Be happy, safe and stay healthy! 👍🤗 😷⚒ From near Palm Springs, CA for the next few weeks .
Awesome finds there RM. I really like the petrified wood when it has colors in it. The agates with the colors are pretty cool too. Lola was having too much fun 😁
Lola did good, but I miss Chopper's goofie personnality. Those are some fabulous rocks, wish we could have seen the one you found in the water under the sun. You are having a good start of your rock huting season Kim. Rock on.
I’ve been missing your videos so much!! The section of the river you visit and your great eye always made me so impressed with what’s there! Then I watched Theo’s wedding and saw you there, hope your well & will be able to do what you love soon ❤️
It always amazes me the raw beauty you are exploring in Montana, and then the magic of the rocks your finding, every one just amazing colours or patterns. There will be some gorgeous slabs from them. Thankyou for taking us along.
Awesome hunt 👏👏 Thank you for sharing your video I do appreciate your hard work that you put into content. I hope to see many more beautiful agates in the future.
Well, I sat down to read but saw your video notification and it was an automatic click for me. You always find the most beautiful rocks! Thank you for sharing your finds and your sweet pup, Lola.
Lady, you have one sharp eye! ;o :) So glad you let me come along. I see so many pretty rocks that you don't have time for. I just want to investigate them all. Lola looks like she'll be a good rockhound and partner on your adventures.
Nice finds. I believe it's important to remember that she obviously has access to private property and is picking Virgin ground. I can tell by simply watching her step over countless pieces that most would pick up. Don't expect these results if you aren't as fortunate as her. Thanks 👍
The polka dots were cool. The pretty banded piece before the red jasper was lovely. LOVED the green jasper. Loved the agate with the blue and green top. Little bit of gorgeous is right. Plummy inclusions and wonderful banding yes!!! Some day I'm going to hunt the yellowstone. Love your videos.
Thank you for the time that you take to show and teach us how to look for rocks I am moving to Wyoming Cody is a matter of fact, not too far from Billings and I am going to do some rock hunting and I am learning from you so thank you
Can you please explain what does an agate have or not have that allows it to ‘make the cut’ for you to take it home? Also, what do you do with all of your agates? I know you have a lot of equipment in your garage (saws , etc.). Can you show us your collection? Do you sell any of them?
Usually if they have too many little pits in them or fractures, they are considered a lower-grade- so they won't polish or display well. With limited room in my backpack, I have to use restraint or I'll take home the river! From time to time I list rocks on Ebay- so that Usually keeps my supply down. Since I've been more picky at the river, I really don't have as many as one would think at home! My favorites I usually keep rough, the way I found them, and put them around my house
Seems like the crystal clear material with smaller black leopard spot dendrites sells better than about anything especially when the dendrites are dispersed throughout instead of in bands.
Hi. I live in Colstrip. I'm do lapidary work and am a silversmith. Are you interested in selling the agate you found in the water? I was just in Billings looking the other day. Is that where you go? My son lives in Billings so we go see the grands.
I'm not quite ready to let go of that one....thank you for recognizing how beautiful it is though! I usually look for agates anywhere from Laurel to Sydney along the Yellowstone. I have found large ones between Billings and Custer. The ones with more red tend to be farther east. Almost every area along the Yellowstone I have found something cool a time or two- I have the best luck after the spring melt floods and in late fall!
Thanks for responding. You have a good eye for the agate. Lol. My old eyes aren't as good apparently. Please let me know if you change your mind about the agate. And happy hunting. Maybe I'll run into you out and about sometime. And if you cut and just want to sell a slab let me know.
You always have some nice finds. I'm jealous. Montana Agates are one of my favorites. Have you ever found any with copper in them? I have one that has a copper dendrite in it.

Wow wow wow!!!!! Thank you for making me smile 😃- that really does make my heart feel warm 💓 Rock On!!!! Xoxo
So far the 1st 3 rocks are going to reward you for sure I'm liking everything so far.
Can't believe you left that agate at 5:11 behind.
It kills me to watch my videos sometimes and see lots of stuff I either missed or left behind!
I think the honey pots follow you. ❤
Stunning pieces Kim. One of these days I’ll make it up there.
The blue color rocks reminds me of the song crystal blue persuasion.
Really amazing finds! I am finishing polishing a large piece of green jasper I got from you over a year ago. It is an amazing piece.
I remember that one.... it was awesome 💚💚💚💚
You're amazing I'm glad to see you made it through the Montana winter❤
So jealous of those hunting areas. Love going on hunts (vicariously) with you thanks! 😊 good girl Lola... PS...I am getting better at find the rock! Rock on 🤘
I love the time you spend on really showing the rocks so we can admire them and of course your enthusiasm and happiness when you find a beauty makes me appreciate your adventures even more 🥰
Thank you for watching and appreciating me & the rocks!
Thank you for all that you do to provide such awesome content ❤
Can you see the cookie monster agate???! I want to make sure it's not just me that sees him!
That second one you found was amazing! Also the third from the last one with the plumey bands and the final petrified wood. I’d love to know if you’re selling those. Love watching you hunt! The Cookie Monster looks more like the squirrel from ice age to me. 🤣
I definitely see the cookie monster in that one agate! Very cool! 😊
Loved the big red white blue agate !

Lady, you have one sharp eye! ;o :) So glad you let me come along. I see so many pretty rocks that you don't have time for. I just want to investigate them all. Lola looks like she'll be a good rockhound and partner on your adventures.
Old disabled house bound dusty rusty rockhound here: Fantastic agates! Can't wait to see you slab these!
Cool. Thanks.
Nice! I really liked the pockadot one that looks like an ocean jasper.

I was worried when I didn't see her on your last outing 😊
Do you ever put together hounding trips for others. You are so good at the finds. They are spectacular
You still don't have a trolley!!!! 😮😮😮😮 I can't believe you are carrying all those goodies on your back 😢😢 you're going to hurt yourself ....
I know... you are right for sure
Waww oh my good is oke agate
I need to come hounding in your area... Wow
Seems like the crystal clear material with smaller black leopard spot dendrites sells better than about anything especially when the dendrites are dispersed throughout instead of in bands.
Once long ago I was mining sapphires at El Dorado bar . If I didn't meet you there it was someone very similar.
you rock on I will rockabye baby

When we come down in August, we are planning to go out for a day with Katydid. Could we arrange a trip (can't say how much I love this one!) with you?
2.53 Did Lola find that?? I nearly fainted when you turned it over 😂 Epic find!!
She definitely helps me by wetting the rocks!!!
❤❤❤❤❤
I would never get anything done. Too many choices. No rocks in Florida. Need to make a trip North.
You have beautiful agatized coral though...and lots of magnificent fossils!
You always have some nice finds. I'm jealous. Montana Agates are one of my favorites. Have you ever found any with copper in them? I have one that has a copper dendrite in it.
♥
silly question; what type of water bottle do you use to spray the rocks off with?
A battery operated one- you can find one on Amazon...amzn.to/49yg7f3
Such incredible finds! Was this at a public access on the Yellowstone?
⛏️😎
Where at in Montana is this video?
Were those sea cows you drove by at the start of your video?
I’ve been watching your videos and after hearing your bear encounter I’d highly suggest carrying a side arm. Bear spray is not effective enough.
حجاره غير عاديه
Is this even real???
Haha...you are funny! I sent you a message.... 😉
Your a beautiful woman
