This is the CD that made me love electronic music. The first one I've ever listened to back when I was 9 or 10, more than 20 years ago, and made me dive completely into this genre 'til now. Couple years back, Digweed came to Lima. At the middle of the gig I wrote a message in my phone, "I've been listening to you since Bedrock", and went up front of the booth, which was a meter far away from the crowd, and showed it to him. He read it while playing and smiled. That made me the night!!
I hadxthe honor of meeting sasha and digweed on the boat at wmc 2007! Only 100 pl on the boat....more than epic
I met John in 2003 at club 7 in Dallas. Got a photo with him too! Definitely one of the highlights of my life. He is a super nice guy.

Love this, discovered it a couple years back, a dark and atmospheric sound that sadly seems to have been unique to its time. The 90s and early 00s was the best of times.

Legendary album that is dance music history. Iconic. Totally captures the essence of his sound and magic. Still his best solo mix album.
Used to turn this up and play a PS1 game called roll age and turn the game music down.

This darker heavy stuff reminds me of the Bedrock sub label called “Black”. I wish they would have done more with that label. That label was pure thick heavy dark prog.
