Playing a thief in the previous 2 Elder Scrolls games was also an _experience_ because they get a lot of utility skills. Lockpicking in those games actually made you feel like a shady sneak thief. Morrowind's lockpicking minigame was even in REAL TIME, so you had a chance to be caught. Pickpocketing is always a lot of fun, and acrobatics and athletics are absolutely broken.
For an extra thrill I like robbing bandit camps. It adds the risk off being killed. And another addition cool for me is the Skyrim Souls mod removing the pause while lockpicking and pickpocketing.
I also figured out on one of my later playthroughs that keeping up with the pace the game sets, setting your own pace to make it haphazardly try to keep up with you or just slowing down to a crawl, all can be their own unique experiences and some will be much more enjoyable for you than others
As a thief you can really make some coin in Solitude cuz it seems like every house has at least one potion of regeneration and they sell for quite a bit
Only one thing to keep in mind: the archmage is not "the best mage" in pretty much any game in the series. Play some morrowind and look into the telvanni for example. I get the feeling, the archmage is just "the best puppet" in most of the cases. Otherwise a very fine video :)
There's a low whirring in the back of your mic. I use Reaper audio tool to help with that. Not a shill, just saying. My audio is kind of bad, I just had viewers help me with it. Thought I'd give you the tip. Keep being cool! Trump 2024!

You know, sometimes playing as a pacifist thief or similar roles can be more fun than the standard warrior/mage/assassin.
Archer/assassin is the most common and overpowered for sure, I need to use magicka next playthrough because it’s pretty awful in skyrim
Playing as a Thief in Skyrim the most fun class in this game, also the best way to earn money in skyrim.
And yes, you should inject some light roleplaying into your characters. It helps freshen up the game

Okay I'll play Skyrim again. {proceeds to start up the game}.

best min-max in skyrim is stealth-archer
if you think being a thief is already fun, you can also try it with Ordinator

The nit picking in Skyrim videos comments never fails to amaze me
