Thanks for the video! And if you're on the fence about placing an order for one of these, don't be. This thing is well designed, high quality, and reasonably priced. I bought a Kart Mate Pro this summer and can't imagine doing business without one. The efficiency is crazy - I get more done in less time, with way less fatigue, increasing my volume and profitability. The team at Dawson is outstanding - terrific communication, above and beyond customer service, and most importantly they're professional, reasonable guys with integrity. Highly recommended product and highly, highly recommended company to do business with. Pull the trigger... Thanks again LCR! You informed my purchase decision!
Ordered my kart mate rs yesterday to mount to my super z. Totally excited. Multiforce is definitely gonna happen someday but only starting season 3 right now. Maybe add it to the fleet next season.
@@LawnCareRookie damn it. I didn’t know you had a code. I tried to order it from Dawson but it was cheaper through Ballard. Then I tried to use Brian’s code but it wouldn’t except it on the cart ,only the hitch.
Yeah, that's been the problem for many... They just came out with a dump trailer for Mulchmate and kartmate, called dumpmate. It has a section in the front with a ramp for your mower, skid steer, top dresser, or whatever you want. Plus the hydraulics also lift the trailer up so you can get wheel barrows or kartmate underneath back doors or if you're using Mulchmate on the back! Check out the link in the video description 🔥
I made something that works just as well for about $300.00 on my vride 2. Ohio steel dump cart (1200 lbs capacity) and a metal bracket/hitch off amazon for $9. With the sides on the dump cart I can get almost a full yard of mulch in it.
It changes every year. I don't have anyone on a contract for mulch. So some years I have 40 properties and years 20... This year 15 properties, 75 yards of mulch. And I get it done in 3 weeks.
the biggest problem as you explained with the mulch mate is steering, the Fibonacci numbers just aren't there. the fact is all that weight is too far from the steer tires which on a commercial mower is the drive tires. the solution is to mount the mulch mate behind the machine- almost impossible to do on a grandstand. but many mowers it is quite easy. wrights, ferris, bobcat, bradley. easy to drive around, much easier on the trans axels and hydro system. when you get near the destination simply turn around on the operator platform reach behind and drive it right up to the spot to dump.
The Toro multiforce hydraulic dump , if you put any kind of weight in it example ,double groud mulch ,wet mulch, 1/2 filled with top soil , the front tires will fall off rims, pos ! we went back to wheel barrels. The Toro just sat not used ,also could not use it ground was wet ,front tires would peel off making any kind of turn !!!!!!!! Get the point toro !!!! Fix front tires problem!!!
You can change out the front tires for different attachments... Airless and air. Maybe that would help 🤷 It's also not a dingo... They only recommend and promote using it for regular dry mulch, like in this video. I don't spread anything else in any other conditions. But everyone's business is different 👍
Save on Kartmate w/ Code LCR

Always good content been watching for years. You should really have 10 times more subscribers.
Wow, thanks man!
We have a Mega Attachments Dump Kit on our Grandstand. Works great and is half the cost of the Kart Mate.
I just ordered my KartMate. Thanks for the information.
Hope you used code LCR to save some 💰
Great video buddy. You did an outstanding job comparing the two. #teamkartmate #teamtoro
Thanks man. I appreciate your opinion!
With dawson having linear actuators on his snow blade it wouldn't take much to put an actuator on the kart mate. Ya?
🤷

Did you use my code to save some money?

I guess we need to do better promoting it...
I’m actually looking into a stand on v-ride 2 but this could be a more productive addition to my company with some of the attachments 🤔
You can still get the vride and use kartmate 👍
Problem is getting the equipment to jobsite. I have dump trailer, no way to transport mulch and mower to site at same time.

How many yards of mulch u do in a year?

We made something better than kart mate for $200 using a harbor freight trailer cart. Works better and saved us $2k.
Sounds interesting but I can't imagine it being anywhere near as heavy duty... 🤷
Do you have a video of your contraption I would definitely like to see that.
