    boy those are really helping out saveing so much time and we all no time is money i watch spencer lawn care vidios they use the muilty force and helps them out so much now me still only have couple push mowers just keeps helping the older one but ill get the to help out more and more thumps up to you

    We have eliminated bulk mulch from our routine & have gone to using all bagged mulch. Might sound more expensive but really we save time & money. 2 cu ft bags on sale this time of year at HD or Lowe's. They load pallets on our dump trailer. We don't need skid loaders or shovels or wheelbarrows. Pull up to sight & unload bags right to the areas being mulched. We use much less mulch this way because we aren't dropping huge piles of bulk mulch. Highly recommend.

    I spread 30 yards of mulch in the last week as a solo and I’m still trying to mow on top of all that. I could use a multi force with the mulch attachment that’s for sure.

      I have a 33 yard job this weekend and a 28 yard job the following weekend. All solo while mowing during the week. I feel your pain!

      If your mowing and mulching. Do what I did and buy a ventrac 4500 series with a bucket and mulch kit. Swapping from a finish mower to the bucket takes about 2 minutes. I can spread 15 yards of mulch solo from start to finish in 6 hours.

    It’s a Godsend and true blessing when you can have symmetry with your coworkers, or in your case employees Brian. This past year has been the first in over 6 years at my full time job that we have that going for us. It all starts at the top. New manager, (the right one for the position) and everything flows smoothly. My point is, it’s encouraging and awesome to see that you have that! 😎🤜🤛

    Hey Brian a little trick for mulch take a leaf rake preferably one that is a little worn out and soft like doesn't rake really well turn it upside down and just brush the top of the mulch with that makes it perfectly flat with little effort so you don't have to take so much time with the grading rake. You can just give it a quick spread and then use the rake to finish or dress it up if you will

  • @jelinektreeservice
    @jelinektreeservice 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Looks like it saves about 3 guys with wheel barrows. Good investment. Just a thought, load the mulch force over a mulch bed instead of in the grass so you don’t have to rake/blow the grass when you spill.

    You should try using pirtch forks to spread the mulch. Not the 4 or 5 prong but the heavy duty 6 prong. Scoop piles out around then flip the fork and level it out using the bottom of it. You limit your reach with a rake but can pitch fork it in the hard to reach areas. Also mulch the furthest parts of the mulch beds first so you dont have to track through the freshly laid stuff... I'm sure you know that though.

  • @DonaldAJr

    Personally I'd drag a 2X4 by whatever tire span to climb them curbs. Drop it dead center and you can run for another load.

    If you use a potato for when you are half dumped then you can just pull out however much mulch you need rather than over-dumping mulch.

  • @MichaelSmith-bl4xl

    Since you have the leaf vac still installed. Why not direct chute to area that needs coverage, then vac out of trailer?

  • @moneymakingmikeg.9555

    Yo Hammer!! you get another one of those drive up chalks that you use for flat tires & if you place them next to curb you can take the Toro up into that mulch bed over bye where the dumpster is & in other spots. Something to try out next year Cuzzy!! Hoping all is well, Dirty Jersey out!! #broinlawns!!

    I have a honest question. What is keeping all of that mulch in place? That curb can’t hold it all. One good rain and it’s all out of the beds. What do you tell a customer when the mulch you just laid and they paid for is put it the parking lot. Just curious.

    • @BriansLawnMaintenance
      @BriansLawnMaintenance  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wait, what? Why would the mulch go anywhere. It's never been an issue, not sure your question.

      @@BriansLawnMaintenance I’ve had mulch essentially wash away. Because either the client had drainage issues or something of that nature. I mean if you’ve never had a problem with it I guess my question is irrelevant. Thanks!
