- After discovering the group Wonder Girls after we watched a BLACKPINK cover of "So Hot" we wanted to see another from them and this one did not disappoint. This is a feel good song that spawned a flash mob of all ages.

'trouble' is Sohee. if you ever get around to watching the film 'Train To Busan', she played the school girl with the baseball team. memorable both here and there.
Good to know. Thanks!
Most popular are Nobody and Tell Me. I loooove the dance on Tell Me!
So funny that you guys reacted to Like This, it's actually one of the most forgotten Wonder Girls song, they released it less than a month before Psy released Gangnam Style, so the song didn't actually had time to become well known (everybody was hypnotized by Psy 😅😅)
The awesome vocals you heard are from Sunye, she has short deep red hair in the music video. Like This is actually her last korean release being part of Wonder Girls, after that the group released an english song, a japanese one and went on hiatus, when they came back she wasn't part of the group anymore (but the girls are still friends to this day!).
If you want to keep reacting to Wonder Girls, here are a few suggestions:
- Irony. Their debut from 2007, the music video is only 240p but still has english subs, rare thing.
- Tell Me. Their first comeback and first hit, the dance became viral at the time. The music video is cute and funny, I think you two gonna like it.
- Nobody. The first kpop song to chart on billboard, there's an english version of it.
- I Feel You. Their first comeback after the hiatus, from this point, they became a band. Probably one of the best kpop albums to this day.
- Why So Lonely. Their last comeback, fun song and music video.
As always, thanks for the reaction!
Good stuff. Thanks for taking time to give us this info! 🙏
The happy blue-haired girl is Hyerim. She is married with a young son now. I listen to her radio show every week day.
Thanks for that info 👍

They are girl group from 2 generation like wonder girls era
I really liked Nobody and Tell me from them when they came out and I lived in Japan at the time, they were playing everywhere in Asia back in the day ❤
legends
Wonder Girls and Girls' Generation were my favourite back in 2nd gen era. You guys have to react to Nobody and Why So Lonely.
Please more Wonder Girls !
This is one of my favourite Wonder Girls songs. Another few I recommend is Tell Me, Irony, Why So Lonely, I Feel You, Money ft Akon, Nobody and Be My Baby!
The first famous Wonder girl is "No body". Actually it's my first kpop experience.
❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤
That was fun! I like the spontaneity of the flashmob format. Much prefer it to the over-produced, regimented choreography in 'official videos'. Gave me a definite flashback to disco vibes...
Totally agree 👍
That's how you do a major production number for (relatively) cheap. The overall meta in K=pop at this time was still towards "cute", but that doesn't mean that these artists weren't great at what they do. It's absolutely a good thing to look back and honor those who helped establish your favorite genre', no matter what that is. Everything has to start somewhere, and it's a good thing to understand where that was. Also, there's *nothing* wrong with music that just makes you feel good - not everything has to be serious, and shouldn't be.
This one lightened up a boring morning, thanks, but I really don't want to see Coach "wiggle". ;)
🤣 Well said.
Such a shame Hyuna had to leave 2 months before their first album due to health issues. Three of the album tracks feature Hyuna.
They have the song Nobody. There is the English version and the Korean version. JYP is meant to perform the song himself, but he locks himself in the toilet. The Wonder Girls take his place. The funny bit is whilst on the toilet, you hear him drop wind as you hear the parp noise. 😅😅
😅😂
❤️🔥
As far as I remember, they were the first K-pop team to make inroads into the American market. This is the second generation girl group of JYP Entertainment.
As you know, JYP is headed by Jinyoung Park. This person’s dream was to advance to the United States. Now, surprisingly, you too enjoy and broadcast K-pop. But at that time, to be honest, no one was interested.
(For reference, Jinyoung Park's musical inclinations were formed when he lived in the United States, and he now really likes these types of songs. Many songs by JYP singers were also composed by him.)
Of course, such attempts were not successful. At that time, no American was interested in K-pop.
They are one of the leading second-generation girl groups in Korea. (Wonder Girls, Kara, Girls' Generation) Among them, you know Girls' Generation. (Personally, I would also like to recommend Kara. In the case of KARA, surprisingly, it was the most popular in Japan. There is also a Killing Voice episode. Good to taste.)
This is great info. Thanks for taking time to share.
oi! As an American, I can assure you we were. But American teenagers don't have the most cash to spend, assuming anyone at the time was willing to sell K-pop CDs and merch.
One of the songs that had been on my Playlist for the linger time. But you'll want to check out Nobody.
"Wonder Girls - Tell Me" plss❤
Next react, Easy On Me Cover by Kim VVUP 🙌
1:41 can't believe Coach didn't catch the AC\DC t-shirt! Tell Me and Nobody are absolutely unavoidable in anyone's k-pop journey, but Why So Lonely is my favourite track of theirs!
Didn't see it until the edit. 😁

You’d like Miss A better if you’re young to do 2nd gen. Hush. Bad girl good girl. Only you.
there's a band from Australia that is probably the greatest rock band of the modern era, not exaggerating. Checkout Iron Lung (live kexp) by King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard.
