What's funny is that Bill thought his Garfield role was being directed by one of the Coen brothers. Reading the lines with disappointment, he found out it was directed by Joel Cohen. The main reason he stayed on was because this was his first time voice acting. His appearance as a clown is ironic. The joke's on him; he took a job that put him out of a job. Bill voiced the lazy cat again in the sequel, Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties.
The Garfield writer is Joel Cohen, and not Coen. I can see how Bill would have gotten the names confused, but why Bill would think Ethan and Joel would write a Garfield movie, I have no idea.
Does anyone have a link to view Bill's appearance on the show where he comes on, dances and tells Dave he is just getting ready for the big Mexican or Latino explosion. As I recall Bill was drinking a big cocktail, it may have been called a coconut headbut.
