  • This video is a step by step sewing tutorial on sewing an invisible zipper using Wonder tape and a special invisible zipper foot of your sewing machine.
Let me show you the fastest and easiest way to insert an invisible zip that eliminates the need for pins and basting. You don’t need to fumble with pins, baste the zipper or press the zipper teeth flat before starting.
This technique will help you to eliminate common problems and get professional results that you will be proud to show off.

I am grateful for your time and effort, and great camera work, as well as your clear instructions on this valuable tutorial. Since this is not a recent video, I am hoping you are still uploading tutorials. Do you have one on set-in sleeves? Thank you very much!🧵🌿🌹🌱🥰❤️💗

Glad it was helpful! There are so many subjects, and so little time - sorry, I did not make a video about sleeves yet.

I love your wrist pin cushion, what a great idea! 🙂 Thank you for your tutorials.

Thank you! It is also very useful. For anyone wondering what this is about, the wrist pincushion is at www.ageberry.com/diy-pin-cushion-bracelet-pattern/ and is relatively simple to make, if anyone wants to.

I hear it's Better that You chair the tape instead of cutting it so that You can actually pull the paper off easier.😊

Thanks, ok this is a 5/8" Seam allowance but what was the measurement of the line that you drew? how much from the top of the garment?

From the top of the garment? Well, it depends. If you want to add a hook or a button there then you have to leave more space. I usually don't put anything, modern zippers hold the closing very well, so I just align the zipper pull with the waistline or with the neckline. Fold the seam allowances and check how it looks and then decide where to start. I hope it helps.

@@SewingTutorialsByAgeberry i am legally blind and sometimes if i can't see what you doing i am not able to repeat. i notice that you drew a line and i wasn't sure of the distance from the end of the fabric. i understand that the top is normally 1/4" normally but not always. thanks and i appreciate your reponse and your teaching in sharing.

@@supernatural0948 Oh, the first line? it's 5/8 in from the edge - that's where the seam allowances are. I have a written tutorial on my blog, check it out here www.ageberry.com/sew-invisible-zipper-wonder-tape/ Maybe I explain it better there?
