I love this stuff. I use it when sewing velvet together. it helps prevent the velvet from rolling back on itself and holds the 2 pieces of velvet together vs. pinning a ton!

I even with looking into the spray adhesives and knew they wouldn't work after reading the cans. This ıs exactly what I needed!!!! Hate to spend extra money on things, but I have a lot of scratch fabric, this will be purchased. Thank you!! thank you!! thank you!!

hello...new to sewing...I am sewing primarily backpacking gear, often now lightweight ripstop nylon sort of stuff...got me some of this wonder tape....thanks for your video...gives me some confidence about trying this product. My question is about it "washing away"...so after say soaking the end product in water or washing it, does it leave anything behind? paper or anything? Wondering if I use this on a project does it leave anything as far as weight? For us back packers, we count ounces often, so on a big project like a large tarp, I do not want to add an ounce or more really. Thanks!

I loved Wonder tape when it had paper on the back. The plastic they use now doesn't let go of the adhesive. I tried to rub it with my fingers like you said, but the tape and adhesive still come off together. So what is an easy way to get the plastic off that leaves the adhesive on?
Hi Dianne, thanks for watching. Unfortunately they have made changes to the original wonder tape in this video. It’s not the same anymore and doesn’t apply or remove like it use to. 😩
This is probably a stupid question ^^', but who can you use Wondertape to sew on elastic? wouldn't you have to stretch the elastic while sewing it on? How does that work with Wondertape? Thank youu
Looks like she applies the wonder tape to the fabric but doesn’t press the elastic down on the tape until she’s at the machine, stretching the elastic. Watch the ruching video she references. She holds the elastic up until she sews it.
I did not know this existed! Returning to sewing after 15 years and I feel like my hands are everywhere and I'm getting lost in pieces of fabric when sewing and utterly overwhelmed at times. I can tell this is going to be so much help. Thank you!!

I will buy this tape this week. Never knew what it was used for in sewing. I think it would do well with velvet, fleece and velour. (2020)

How well does Wonder Tape do on curves? I do a lot of historical sewing and fancy curves are a fact of my life.
I haven't haven't had any issues on curves, you can snip it with the fabric if need be.
