One correction for you. You said that the channel exploded in about a year "because of you guys." No, it exploded because of you. You make some great looking models. Congratulations on the one anniversary! Happy Modeling.
Andy, thanks. I'm about to reenter the armor construction process after about 30 years of being out of it. I'm watching your videos for lessons. Will add extra parts and weathering techniques have changed so much since I was last in the hobby.
I've wanted this kit for some years now and before opening it I watched this. It helped me a lot, the panzer IV is one of my favourite tanks of all time. You helped it look better than I could ever have made it. Thank you.
These tutorials are brilliant Andy....love them, I,ve just started tank modelling as a change from aircraft and yr tank builds are just superb...as are the aircraft
I was just going through TH-cam & I came across your video & wow, that's all I can say. I have been meaning to start making models again, I should explain I had a stroke about 5 years ago & I'm almost because of my legs & my right arm house bound, I do get out but not a lot, so I thought doing models would be a great hobby for me, I am going to get a model & make it, thanks for your video I have made the subscription & paid 1.99 a month to your site so I shall be watching your video from now on,
One of the most beautiful tanks ever build (in real life and modeling). Congrats to your amazing skills and way of explaining and videoing everything. You are my 1st TH-cam choice for military model building.
I've been doing modelling on and off now for years, but since watching your videos you have given my so many ideas on weathering and detail... top work my friend
I have to warn you a little. Many modellers over work weathering. You have to think that the average life time for a tank in WW II was 4 moths counting from the day it left the factory. A lot of tanks went totally new to the front and was killed the first day. Please check the photos you can find from the Battle of Berlin. No of the germans tanks here is looking wearn out at all. Even a photo of an early Tiger I shows the Tiger almost looking new as it left the factory.
Awesome job Andy! Thank you for taking the time and making the effort to produce not just how to videos, but outstanding ones. You are easy to understand and easy to follow. Your demonstrations etc. Your subject matter and diversity of kit manufacturers which has helped us in making our decisions.
Just to let you know that I have started to rerun your videos so that I can keep picking up more great tips on how to improve my technique on weathering painting chipping so thank you for all the help in your video Steve 🇬🇧
Thanks got this one to do but not yet a confident model builder yet as returning to it after several years and also post stroke so not brilliant on hand control....great to have a full tutorial including the painting and paints used....really helpful Thanks
Just got this model and this video was a big help. Don't know if you did, you didn't show it, but having trouble with installing the muffler. Directions aren't very clear and or a flaw in the model itself. Nothing lines up. Thanks for posting Andy. Great job!!!!
I started building models when I was 7 years old and now I'm 56 and still learning. The costs have went sky high and it's a wonder that anyone can afford to build anymore. I love the Tamiya kits but as I said the costs keep me from building as often as I'd like to. I love the video's so keep making them. It must be nice to own a hobby shop cause I always thought that it would be my dream job doing what you liked every day! :-) lol
Another great build. I 'm not sure if my computer's the only one, but I have a mute button if I didn't want the audio portion of the video, rather than moan about it! It's a build video, not Tamiya on Ice. Love watching your painting techniques and I've recently bought my first airbrush - not that I'll be abandoning the brushes completely.
Just got back into making models, it's been at least 10 years since I built anything. Your videos have been a great help. Just built a Panzer 4 and ME 262.
Andy,,love your channel!! I've recently started building models again, and I was going through a lot of channels looking for hints and ideas. Although there's a great deal channels out there, with great hosts. But you are by far the best. I've been watching for a few months now, and I'm learning so many things. You make everything simple and easy, with a lot of great ideas and info. Thanks, and looking forward to the next episode.
Congratulations on the anniversary! Always enjoy watching your videos, especially at work (when I'd rather be home working on a kit). I'm envious of your speed builds - I frequently get hung up on minute details on my own builds and have a hard time keeping up momentum, frequently turning a 1 week build into a month-long odyssey. I like hearing any tips and tricks you have to share, as well as when you demo new gear or techniques.
With all of the positive reviews that I find about your store and your skills I have decided to try my hand once again. Because I respect you and will be using your video as an instruction manual I would appreciate it if I could purchase EVERYTHING I need from your store and have you ship them to me Fed Ex. I mean EVERYTHING, kit, paints, a good durable quality airbrush, weathering supplies, and a set of those metal tracks you used on the late Panther. Any additional detailing pieces would be great too.. Thankyou
Really enjoy watching your videos Andy and get inspiration even over the pond in Scotland. Always liked the P4 in all its guises. I have the older Panzer 4D in my stash but these two look fab and so will have to look into adding to my collection.
wow andy! i just ordered tamiya pz iv h literally half an hour ago and you put this video out, you're cool man. i know this is panzer iv j, but it is the same thing basically, sans the shurzen and some vision ports Andy, you are THE man!

Panzer IV was like a first love that I couldn't get swept out of my mind since childhood days and I bought and build this Tamiya Panzzer IV just 2 year ago just as a redeeming purpose.
Andy, I enjoyed this video, as I'm preparing to do this build. It will be replacing my Dragon Pzkpfw IVJ that I backdated to be an early version, that I did as a Finnish Panzer 4. Its a great prep video.
Andy....PLEASE TRY TAMYIA HULL RED for your track color instead of wasting time and paint on mixing ! Ive been using it for years and turns out beautifully. same shade !!
Hi Andy, I've been watching some of your videos and I've also subscribed to your channel. Making models was a hobby of mine when I was younger, but sadly currently I don't have much time and money to spare for this hobby. But, I still find watching channels like yours very entertaining and informative. I hope one day I'll be able to pick up the hobby once again. In the meantime, keep up the good work. I wish you all the best for your channel and your store. Cheers!
I agree I like the Tamiya for the ease of building , more parts don't always make a better kit , plus the Tamiya is half the price. I still like Dragon for the Zimmerit just has to be something different for me to want to build.
I build cars and they have to be painted with so much precision, but the weathering and all the details here are very interesting, almost make me shift my hobby !
Hi Andy, Congratulations on the stats to date, you seem to be a happy man with them. As always another great build, do keep up the excellent work. Happy building, Les
Thanks for all the information and help. I wish you could be my local shop. The hobby shops in my area just don't get it. I am about to paint my 1/16th RC Tiger Tank ....wish me luck. I have learned all my airbrushing from you.
Excellent video! Keep up the great work. I am not sure how many air brushes you have experience with but an airbrush review video would be pretty cool. Of course this is for selfish reasons as I am looking to upgrade but cannot decide on which to buy! Thanks!
Another good video Andy , and another well finished model . in my opinion the tamiya model is better as there is no point having twice the number of parts as in the dragon kit to achieve the same result. keep the great videos coming

Honestly every video are top 3 building videos on net. I like watching these very much
I personally think the classical music really represent the relaxation of building scale models.
I absolutely agree.
Congrats ! Blessings , and may the good Lord be with you and your loved ones 👍👍
Been building since I was 8 years old, (I'm 56 now), and I really enjoy your videos, especially the painting and weathering.

If you build a second of these at a later date, Tamiya makes a GREAT zimmerit aplique set.
