I haven't had the spare time to build model kits since I was 17 (I'm now 55). I have over 100 kits now and plan to start up again when I retire in 7 years and I've learned a lot just watching your videos Andy!!!! Can't wait to start up.
I have not touched a model in over 45 years..... your paint work just makes this tank look out standing!!!! I am getting back into modeling & getting myself equipped with the proper tools & paints. Thanks for your great directions.. keep it up!!!!
Tamiya ROCKS! And these days, instead of being the king of high prices, they're actually pretty modest... and I love the color they mold their kits in.... Andy, I REALLY miss the old channel and the kits you built....
Another great build Andy, I love watching the painting and watering. I model UK model railways in 1/72 OO scale but also UK RAF Jets of the 1950's. I have used many of your techniques on my models and I have to say they have turned out superb. Thanks once again.
Andy, nice job! regular subscriber, & viewer, one of my top "go-to" model channels! ☺. tamiya is one of my favorite brands, thinking of trying there acrylic paints. don't let the negative comments/ "rivet counters" get you down, keep up the good work! wish i was living in Arizona again, would love to come to your store. former Tucson ipms member, & "Tucson hobby "(the old speedway & Jerry store), customer. Thanks. from Amery, wi.
That's a great paint job on Brummbar. I've got the 1/16 Jadgpanther radio controlled version. Both are great kits from Tamiya. Beautifully designed & engineered. I have about 20+Tamiya kits in my stash. About the same number of MiniArt kits. I reckon all the kits I have are beautifully engineered.
Thanks for your efforts in sharing this. When I am going to get into it again I am going to buy from you for all your efforts to share the "how to's". Thanks again.
You're the Bob Ross of model building. Love your work! As a special request, I would love to see you build a Convair B-58 "Hustler" aircraft model (And if you did I would purchase it). The Hustler didn't have a long service life with the USAF SAC but it does have a great history. Keep the videos coming, I enjoy them tremendously!
Mate I have been watching..... listening, to your videos the last couple of weeks at work and I just wanted to say, your skill and techniques have been inspirational. You are a wealth of knowledge and look forward to many more videos. You need to do a resign kit, figure, that would be great. Keep up the great work.
Wow! What an awesome new kit from Tamiya! I can't wait to get my hands on it. Thanks so much for making these videos Andy. I was impressed with the way you make the rubber tracks look so real, and the way you used the Vallejo pigments with thinner to get a dusty finish on the body of the model. Great tips that I will attempt to use. Perhaps I should practice on an old cheap kit before trying it out on a newer one?
hey Andy.greetings from germany.i follow your videos ever if i can and iam a very big fan of your skills and work.very inspired for me every time iam watching your video.i can collect so many ideas and impressions from your videos.thx and please go on.ps.as a german iam watching your german tank builds most.;)
Looks good, I'd suggest painting the inside of that wide rifled barrel with a bright silver to make it really stand out with maybe a slight dark wash to make the rifling pop
excellent new model . well done tamiya, great build as always Andy. the weathering looks fantastic. can't wait to see the 1/16 scale build and your weathering of that 👍
hi Andy from Newcastle upon Tyne , England . .. great review ... was not a vehicle i was originally interested but looks alot of fun to build ... thanks very much :)
Thanks for the great video, Andy! Always enjoy the building and painting/weathering techniques. Have to give this one a go when it comes out. Big thumbs up and a cold one from Canada!!
I just built the Academy version and when I compare it to the Tamiya kit I have to say that I wish I bought the Tamiya kit. The academy kit has lots of parts but I had to modify certain parts quite a bit during assembly to be able to fit them.
Great review and build! Thanks Andy love Tamiya kits probably do mine with the zimmerit,I tried their stick on zimmerit with a Tiger build wasn't crazy about it but I'm sure other after market companies will have their versions out soon
We didn't really need another Brummbar kit as Dragon and Tristar already released some awesome early and late versions, also with moulded on zimmerit where required in the case of Dragon. Still this looks a bit easier to build and looks nice apart from the old rubber band tracks. Tamiya really needs to mould some new PZ III/IV tracks with more detail. Thanks for the video Andy.
That's a very nice kit, but too bad it doesn't come with pre molded zimmerit. I think more kits should come pre molded, as making your own is a nightmare and there are many clean kits already there. Aftermarket zimmerit raise the kit cost a tad bit in my opinion, I don't feel confortable buying one.
Why would it matter if it’s sponsored? Who gives af. You can see the sprues and quality of the model for yourself and the video is free. Haters gonna hate baby. Love your channel Andy ( that comment was totally sponsored 😂😂😂😂😂)
It's an incredibile model, I always liked the late war camo, expecially the "ambush" variant, it's a pity you don't make the crew's figures, they'll add a lot to a model
Thanks for the nice video, very cool kit. It should have included a metal barrel .. any modern kit must come with this addition at least considering the crazy prices of kits in the recent years.
Keep the weathering subtle. AFV crews go the extra mile taking care of their ride, with extreme pride. Nice work!
素晴らしいキットで、お気に入りです。カッコいい👍

Thank you for showing the new Brummbar, I think i will certainly be buying this kit once it's released & the Zimmerit .
Tamiya ROCKS! And these days, instead of being the king of high prices, they're actually pretty modest... and I love the color they mold their kits in.... Andy, I REALLY miss the old channel and the kits you built....
As always fantastic job Andy. Looks like a great model kit.

Nice kit. I'm building the Tamiya Tiger 1. Continue your builds. From your subscriber in the Philippines. God bless Andy
Awesome model you did a beautiful job on it.

Well done! Looks great! I made the early version that Tamiya has out and loved it! This IS a MUST GET for me!!!
Can't beat a Tamiya kit. =)

Andy hi, must complement you on a great concise video, and without music and gimmicks,
a refreshing change. Thank you John.
Great video build. I love the rust effects and I really like how Tamiya rendered the skirts.

Great weathering job!
I find these videos inspiring and very informative. Makes me want to keep building better models. Thanks!
You say it's a quality kit - that may be so, but your paint work was taken that model to a whole new dimension, you sir are a skilled craftsman!
Your finished models always look really good
The Late Brummbar is a really nicely engineered kit by Tamiya.
Mate I have been watching..... listening, to your videos the last couple of weeks at work and I just wanted to say, your skill and techniques have been inspirational. You are a wealth of knowledge and look forward to many more videos. You need to do a resign kit, figure, that would be great. Keep up the great work.
You should see night shift model builds.
you are making this look easy

Love your models Andy! Your a great modeler and you only keep getting better.
Nice video! Tamiya makes fantastic models. I've never had a problem with their models. :-)
Bought this kit last year. Thanks for doing the demo - I'm going to try to replicate the techniques you utilized on my kit as well.
Thanks and greetings from Guyana!

Looks good, I'd suggest painting the inside of that wide rifled barrel with a bright silver to make it really stand out with maybe a slight dark wash to make the rifling pop

Wow, these different colour plastic early kits will be worth a fortune if you save them!
Thanks for the great video, Andy! Always enjoy the building and painting/weathering techniques. Have to give this one a go when it comes out. Big thumbs up and a cold one from Canada!!

Nice model and a very good build 👍
Tamiya manufacturers the best plastic models ..
That’s mostly true, although there are a few that are better.
I just built the Academy version and when I compare it to the Tamiya kit I have to say that I wish I bought the Tamiya kit. The academy kit has lots of parts but I had to modify certain parts quite a bit during assembly to be able to fit them.
Looks ace Andy
I really like the way you weather, you should do it more, mainly on the jagdpanther

와우! 역시 도색하니.. 명작이되었네요
Top cookie video again! I really should build something.

Brumbar turned out nice, but I would have liked to see the crew figures done as well.
Bill
I would like to see Andy building the Schwerer Gustav 800mm railroad gun
That's a very nice kit, but too bad it doesn't come with pre molded zimmerit. I think more kits should come pre molded, as making your own is a nightmare and there are many clean kits already there. Vortex the price of styrene increased greatly which put the price of kits up.
first, Cant wait for the 1/16th jagdpanther
Too old and too big for the Panzer commander uniform ;)
Lol xD
haha
TheFoxBox349 it's hard to be first to view good job
