The success of south coast rail project will largely depend on the schedule the MBTA assigns it. Rhode Island spent a lot of money on the TF Green and the Wickford train station. However it is hardly used because the MBTA only visits these stations a couple of times a day.
Thank you for watching and for taking a moment to weigh in here! Hopefully ridership will justify a regular and consistent daily schedule, like with the Middleboro / Lakeville Commuter line extension and Cape Flyer in the summertime. Time will tell for sure.
A lot of us are fans of the trains. But, as they are in Massachusetts, they go too slow; ambling this way and that .. and making it take twice as long to get anywhere. Wish we'd copy Japan's embracing of better technologies - to make (bullet) trains a great alternative to getting around.
I ive with the E. Taunron practically in my families back yard. And the fact that this person associated with the project blatantly lied. This video is fron Feb. and Its now April and E Taunton is STILL far behind. When there are only 5 or less people a day working throughout 5 sometimes 6 times a week nothing is gonna get done. It stiill looks like a shambled mess. Isn't close now and definitely wasn't "almost there" then in Feb

You could talk about the Salem area
Thank you for your suggestion! Salem, MA is certainly a fascinating place especially historically, but is outside of my South Coast area.
we're on our third delay for opening. Don't hold your breath.
