Welsh coal lucket coal or house coal dont really need a roaring fire just hot enough to make steam and not let the safety valve lifting all the time so it's a bit of a balancing act
@@eliotreader8220 they had coal from the mines all they needed is water and oil but I assume back then they didn't go about shipping and hauling coal from Wales so it would have been house coal because back in them days everything was smoky now we've got to try and fire little and often plus its extremely hard to find steam coal now
