This woman is operating at a different level. Sometimes we think radical ideas such as those she discussed are incompatible with Christianity; however we must be brave to ask questions and free to reorganize a system that was forced upon us and made us less functional. She hit a nerve... posterity will judge her kindly.

AM in support for the idea - if your religion teaches good, then stick to it. If otherwise, you better look for another that fulfills your desire for what is good. All this only if you love goodness

Well spoken, but we have chosen to overlook the slavery in our precolonial societies that affects us to present day that Bob Marley sang "Emancipate yourselves from Mental slavery". Fela too sang, "Ojo wo la maa bo o loko Eru o" translation "When are we going to be delivered from the Scourge of Slavery"
If we want progress we have to work to emancipate ourselves from mental shackles of slavery that persists in African cultures. Bob Marley concluded, "None but ourselves can free our minds"

What if there is prove to show that the Bible was written by our forefathers? What if there is proof to show that we are the seed of Jacob?
By the way the original language of the Bible is Paleo Hebrew has the same distinct linguistic attribute (a system of Parallelism) with the Yoruba language.
God bless the Professor but I believe that her knowledge is limited.
Yoruba is Hebrew; we are without doubt descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. (Page xxi, Paragraph 2 from 'Wit and Wisdom from West Africa' by Burton, Sir Richard, 1865).

    • @SamuelAkinbo

From a purely linguistic perspective, Hebrew and Yoruba do not belong to the same language family. Hebrew is Afro-Asiatic and Yoruba is Niger-Congo. To make the assumption that the bible was probably written by the ancestors of the Yorubas is to make a blunder. For example, neither do we believe in hell nor asking for God's wrath on those those who refuse to accept our religion or ways of life. It is not smart to make the connection. You don't have to link every Yoruba values to foreign ideals for the sake of personal insecurities or fear of going to "hell".

Has anyone noticed the inscription on the Opa Oranmiyan is Hebrew, Oranmiyan is literate in Hebrew. Think about that.
