This is spectacular, the type of production I have been looking for. I appreciate the narration and the performance as a combination. Please, is it possible to have the performance on its own without the narration? The only reason is that I want to get the full length of the Ifa songs, especially the opening song as well as all the poems chanted.Thank you Sir.

@@alfalfred8722 Truth doesn't lie solely in one culture or race, your job is to discern the truth and apply it to yourself and your community.
There is a ring of truth in the Ifa system of divination hence its perpetuation, there's also a ring of truth in the scientific method, this has been proven.
The system of divination lends itself perfectly to the mathematical principles of probabilities, Quantum physics and a corpus of literary possibilities all of which fortunately are ideas codified under Western sciences.
Will you now say because science was formalized by the west, it should not apply to the system of Ifa?
Ifa is science albeit holistic in nature as per the Yoruba system. If you fail to codify it, to prove it's reproducibility and efficacy via the scientific method, if you fail to make it appealing to a wider community of the human race, have no doubt, Ifa won't dissappear, it will be adopted by a more willing race, dare I say the Western.

@@juicysmoye4758 I'm looking for an African concept developed from within and in our language, not copied from Harvard and Oxford books. That's where our survival lies. China is doing it, India and other Asian countries are doing it. It is even shameful that the lecture is in another language.

It pains me always that I am not connected to the spirituality that existed before all the Slave trades contaminated everything.

We each need to do better to ensure our people who have dedicated their lives to keeping our history alive are known and their work is disseminated.
