    My body is so used to the Benadryl I end up taking the whole box 24 pills here and there I'm not addicted to them I'm hurting skin hurts bad and it's messing up my sleep I'm so tired of taking Benadryl every day this is new for me I hate it 😓

    Thank you for this very good information! Our 2 year old daughter has peanut allergy and always hate to give her benadryl!

    For kids with food allergies, do these second generation antihistamines work to prevent anaphylaxis? Obviously something to talk with the pediatrician about, but I'm curious if a child has a response plan that indicates using Benadryl for certain symptoms of a food allergy can a 2nd gen antihistamine be substituted (and what are the strengths of things like Cetirizine vs Fexofenadine?

      from our discussion Dr. Dave said that for anaphylaxis concerns you can use 2nd gen as well!
