There’s a thousand parenting books. There are so many approaches. Attachment, barefoot, tiger, helicopter, free-range…. It used to be you felt the need to keep up with your neighbors and friends…now it’s all of Facebook. You see the beautifully framed and filtered shots of happy children and parents on Instagram.
Household peace, even momentary, is more difficult than you thought. The tug of work (do those emails ever quit?), keeping house (didn’t we just pick up this room?), giving your children positive attention, making sure they are being stimulated with outings, lessons, athletics….
I’d like to share my experiences, knowledge, and expertise with you. To help you be a better parent. To enjoy your children, spouse, and family more. To grow closer to each other and God. You already have most of what you need. I can give you the confidence and reassurance that you can do this.

i accidentally used my brothers toothbrush and he has strep throat will i get infected?
I do say all the time our ancestors never had to worry about tummy time, and room temp…. But Jesus Christ my son doesn’t bump his head he SMACKS his head in the rails. I’ve gotta get pool noodles on it before he knocks himself out and I have a concussed child on my hands lol
My son is slamming his head into the crib as we speak and he's been doing this for over a year. My wife tried to wake him up and rock him but then he didn't fall back to sleep for 2 hours. Not worth it. He's 2.
Biden admin don’t like bumpers that could prevent head injury, but passed law to change gender without telling parents.
These cribs are very hard. My granddaughter is 10 months, I don’t like when she bumps her head on the hard crib.
All cribs are hard. My son has been doing it for 12 months. At one point we just surrounded the whole crib with pillows, like the ones for the couch decoration, so when he did plow his head into something it would be soft. He's 2 now and needs more space so we removed the pillows. He's back to plowing his head lol. He wakes up in the morning perfectly fine so I'd have to agree with the doctor and say leave them be.
As a new dad with zero experience with newborns, I love this advice and thank you so much for spelling it out and assuaging our concerns!
Thank you for this!
my 2+ yr daughter hits her elder sis who is 5 years ..im quite upset her behaviour is increasing day by day ...if one is hitting and other is crying i cant understand what to do at that time if i hold elder one my second daughter also wants me to hold her..everyone says first child should be priority ..i dnt know what to do
Just confirming what i wanted to confirm. 😅 thank you so much. Will apply.
thank you.
God bless this video exist besides my sons age… this is literally the same advice I need
Yes haha
Im about to put pool noodles around the bars lol
Just came to say I’m currently considering this
I find it frustrating that so many people minimizes the problem of baby hitting their head on crib rails. Some babies are milder and they just bump their head on the rails when they move - that's fine. But some babies are big movers they shake their head violently and when their head gets stuck (when they rotate) they panick and kick their legs, which causes their head to jam into the rails really hard. They startle themselves awake and cry uncontrollably. Please do not minimize the struggles those parents go through by implying they want bumpers just because they are "cute."
Okay but my baby wakes up every two hours throughout the night because my baby hits his head on the crib and he’s 10 months 😭
Could it possibly be from something else other than hitting the head? Like to breast feed or they pooped or peed on themselves?
hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
This is an excellent discussion, thank you
My 8 month will stand up and fall backwards into the crib rails head first
how did you solve this? my 8 month old is experiencing the same thing
@@TheDrwhowho We got breathable crib bumpers, but they didn't help much. Also now my baby is 12 months old, and there was no negative effects from the times he bumped his head. As they get older, they gain better balance, and stop doing this
Thanks i needed this!!
My body is so used to the Benadryl I end up taking the whole box 24 pills here and there I'm not addicted to them I'm hurting skin hurts bad and it's messing up my sleep I'm so tired of taking Benadryl every day this is new for me I hate it 😓

Adults with toddler-like bodies or underdeveloped heads (check forehead slant) do this too. Very educational.
Lol, myocarditis and blood clots seem pretty serious to me. Glad that almost no one saw this crap.
Ok but how much to start?
Right LIL WAYNE 🤣
Interesting 🤔, I tried to let my baby to cry it out....waited for almost an hour, he was really upset so eventually I gave up and held him. Not sure if that's the right approach for my baby unless you mean I have to wait for over an hour?
No bumpers on cot bars, but how do you actually stop them hitting their heads?
I am a physician and I am having a hard time with baby who is attention seeking and kept crying when I am not there. She would fall asleep and wake up really quickly when I step out. What should I do?
omg thank you.
Informative - weaning off Benedryl now and experiencing problems from this too
Pressure from mother in law. 3 yr old stayed at her house for 3 days and she started it.
I value talking about the day and trying new food and manners. But 3 yr old keeps getting up and down, wants to play with toys with food, eats and walks around. Super annoying.
Thank You for this. This is my first ever comment on TH-cam and that’s because it makes a lot of sense.
this is so comforting. my baby has been hitting her head a couple of times every night, and we were researching for crib bumpers. It seems that we don't need it.
Thank you
What if baby likes to sleep on side? From day 1 she rolls to the side while sleeping, she is 6 weeks old
Yes

very imformative. thank you for sharing your knowledge. love your philosophy of sticking to old fashion feeding and not get sold by commercial products. thanks
Hello! listening from Melbourne, Australia!! We have 6 months old baby boy. just started solids few weeks ago and past 2 days given peanut butter on toast since told to introduce allergenic food earlier. anyway his been having massive explosive poo on days when peanut butter is given. is this an allergic reaction? he was given peanut butter at 7.30am and he done explosive poo in the evening. He had no rash or any reaction after eating peanut butter but read that diarrhoea is also an allergic reaction, so do i stop for now? or do i continue? thanks for the webinar.
This did not age well. :/
For kids with food allergies, do these second generation antihistamines work to prevent anaphylaxis? Obviously something to talk with the pediatrician about, but I'm curious if a child has a response plan that indicates using Benadryl for certain symptoms of a food allergy can a 2nd gen antihistamine be substituted (and what are the strengths of things like Cetirizine vs Fexofenadine?
from our discussion Dr. Dave said that for anaphylaxis concerns you can use 2nd gen as well!
Thank you for this very good information! Our 2 year old daughter has peanut allergy and always hate to give her benadryl!
How about feeding at night? Isn’t it required to feed them every 2 hours?
What age should this dinner time practice start? Any night with no tantrums is a win!
I love your videos, so helpful and such a calm demeanor. Thank you!
thanks!!
