    Thank you very much for this video friend. I have a Nikon d5100 and it is not compatible with the software itself. I downloaded and bought SparkoCam, despite the high price, it was really worth it, now I will be able to use two cameras simultaneously!!! I didn't know about SparkoCam, nor did I know it existed hahhaha. But you were the light at the end of the tunnel! Thank you very much!!

    Great overview! I use Canon over USB. One difference to the Nikon you mention is that at least the Cabin M50 does not come with a USB cable.

      Hey Markus, Canon has always been ahead of the software game compared to Nikon. Nikon make great hardware but they kinda suck at software. They were pretty late to come up with a webcam utility.
      I prefer the capture card because of the high quality full HD output. It also carries the audio signal so if I hook up a mic to the camera, I get perfectly synced audio video from a single HDMI cable.

    I searched a bunch of videos trying to find ways to connect my Canon 6d to my pc and then to zoom. This video was the last one I visited. The software referred to made the connection. I was baffled, bewildered, and yes over whelmed by everything else which allegedly worked for others but not for me. The softward bridged the gap. Will it work for everyone? I have no clue. I just know it solved my problem. I can now use my dslr with z o o m .

    Excellent guidance. I had been struggling to use my older Nikon D5000 as a web cam for Toastmaster meetings involving speeches. My camera doesn't work with the Nikon webcam utility and had tried several software to make it work until I saw this video.

    I tried my nikon d3200 with nikon utility , no luck, so ordered a hdmi capture card. 1080 P . That should do the job.

    So does SparkoCam make any camera have clean hdmi out since you said it works with even older models. If so could you make a video on how to get rid of everything on your image using SparkoCam?

    • @TechforToastmasters
      @TechforToastmasters  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sparkocam is not based on clean HDMI. It uses the camera capture functionality of the Nikon cameras to bring the preview screen into your computer as a webcam. It automatically removes all overlays so you see only the clean input in the webcam.

    • @TechforToastmasters
      @TechforToastmasters  ปีที่แล้ว

      P90 is a point & shoot camera. This works only for dSLR as mentioned in the title (unless your camera has a HDMI out, which I think the p90 lacks).
