  • Unfortunately, it is not a game. But it is still part of the Satellaview history.
It was meant to be used with the Soundlink feature.
Yesterday I was analyzing BS-X memory pack dumps for fun (and for studying as well). What I found interesting in one of those memory packs is that only one game was showing up in the BS-X Load Program list. The program was 4 Mbits long, but the entire 8 Mbits of the memory pack was filled with data (huge chunks of text was the main reason it caught my attention!)
The reason for the programs to be invisible to the BS-X is that the system itself marks the data as rewritable by clearing some parts of the ROM header (Licensee/Maker and checksums, probably by the user deleting it or limited boot count)
Using a hex editor, I could fix those issues and make it bootable again.
There were two broadcasts of "爆笑問題のシリコン町内会", from February 1 and 8, 1997. The February 8, 1997 was already dumped before and can be found online. The first one though... I don't know. Also, Super Puyo Puyo Tsuu Remix! :D
Huge thanks to Cabbusses's Retro Obscurities for helping me figure out about the header:
    / @cabbusses
Please let me know if this ROM was already dumped before or not! If not, I'll gladly provide the ROM file for preservation.

      I used the bsnes-plus emulator and a BS-X ROM.
Then I used Satellawave to set up the event plaza so I could "download" the broadcasts for testing.
      Everything can be found here:

Looks really weird for a snes "game".

It was used alongside with a radio broadcast from your SNES! It was pretty ahead of it's time :)
Check this video to see it in action:

Wow, you discovered a new ROM that's never been seen before? That's amazing! Too bad nobody really cares about this.

Yeah, I'm just getting started with ROM hacking and these kinds of stuff. It was my first time using a hex editor for good so I'm quite happy with this accomplishment! :D
About the discovery: I currently do not know if this broadcast from February 1, 1997 was already dumped somewhere. But I know that the February 8, 1997 is already dumped. I need to do more research. For now, the ROM file is here sitting on my computer and if someone is interested in getting it and preserving it somewhere more reliable, I can gladly send it.
I might be the only one that cares about this but I'm a nobody :(
