    Hi, I have a couple of questions regarding fire cider... I have a batch I made currently fermenting, however most recipes I've seen say to add citrus, well I didn't have any at the time so there is none in it... will this effect it's potency? ... also... most recipies say to put honey in but not until it's ready... I put honey in at the start... was this a bad thing? have I caused problems or is honey mearly for flavour?... I'm 3 weeks into fermentation so really don't want to start again but will if I have to... any advice would be great... thanks :)

      Great thing about fire cider is that it’s pretty hard to mess up. The vinagre does all the antimicrobial work and honey is anti microbial as well so your good! The fermentation May eat the sugars in the honey during the process so you may want to add more ho eu after straining. Hope that helps
