i think the album took such a drastic turn and i was really not ready for it. It's crazy how she is experimenting more and more and finds out what she can do with her style and voice! I really love her old music and i kinda miss it. But at the same time i'm so happy to hear these new sounds because i love them just as much, just differently! And at last, it was really nice watching your reaction. You seem really nice :)

Thank you for a lovely reaction! I also like this album a lot. I have enjoyed a lot of your reactions. I wanted to say hello and thank you in Oslo, but I didn't get to do it. Maybe next time. 🙂
When you said "I like numbers" I absolutely felt that 😂 when it comes to things with numbers I always do them based on my favorite numbers. Or if the numbers add up to other numbers. Even numbers specifically. Anyway just totally felt seen in that regard when you said that 💙
It's only fitting that yours is the first full album reaction that I've seen. I really enjoyed watching you experience it for the first time! My favorite remains "The Conflict of the Mind." That song still gives me chills, even after listening to it many, many times. Favorite "new" song is probably "Starvation" or "The Dark Dresses Lightly," though there are many that are very close to the top. One thing, you probably shouldn't have skipped "A Soul With No King," because the album version is quite a bit different from the remix that you were already familiar with. That album version is very near the top of my favorites too (though I also love the remix).
there is a live Starvation video on yt. I love the EDM starvation, but the live one with the hand claps is on another level. It completely changes the song. I hope she goes back and forth between the two styles.
The song you heard as To Be Alright is actually called The Essence😅 just something to point out, it's is very beautiful, I cried a lot listening to her
Please listen to the other albums !! Each of them have different stories and they're all beautiful. @@RyanSchilling-fg9qn yeah unfortunately starvation is probably my least favorite in this album, I prefer most of the others especially "my name" "my body is not mine" "dreams"
While I understand that reactors want to (over)analyze and share their insightful thoughts about her music while listening I usually miss the kind of reaction you're having in this video: being speechless. Because it's literally what Aurora's music does to me: leaving me speechless but full of emotions. I'm actually kind of suffering a little under the fact that I know nobody to share my speechlessness for Aurora in my real life with which is why I watch so many reactions, I guess. 😅 I love her music not only because it sounds so beautiful but also because she puts a spell on people. Personally, I think that's one of the most exciting things to witness again and again. Like, people can analyze her music as much as they want. I don't care. I know she's in her own league musically. But I am more interested in watching people's facial expressions as they listen to it. It's become one of my favorite things to do.
I struggle with answering if I love music or not. I have not a single thing against any song or any artist but most of the music ever made in history I don’t like I’m very picky about what music I like so I end up listening to just a small amount of artists and to me that’s ok. Aurora is best ofc
Am I the only one who wasn't quite satisfied with the album on the first listen? I knew it would be very different already from the songs she's released pre album release. But i still have to get used to this new style she's experimenting with, which i still enjoy and support but i really really miss the vibes from the sibling album "IOADKOH". Just the earthy, magical fairy vibes with a different production type and Askjells support on some of the songs. "WHTTH" is for sure a WINNING album and will reach a whole new audience of listeners worldwide but that's also because most of the songs are produced very mainstream and pop sounding. Which i don't really prefer cause sometimes Auroras usage of voice and melody just don't match with the beats and instrumental part. She just doesn't quite fit into the pop genre and i actually love that about her. I love Echo of My Shadow, The Essence, A Soul with no King, Earthly Delights, Dreams, Invisible Wounds. Some Type of Skin, Starvation and My Body is not Mine are growing on me. LOVE the techno part in Starvation. But the other songs I'm having a harder time getting used to them. I always skip My Blood and Do You Feel?. But still i LOVE what she did with this new album. I will always be her biggest supporter no matter what. Aurora they could never make me hate you. I just kindly wish she would maybe do a bit of her past production style again cause those are really the songs that got me into her music and made me fall in love with her. I give this album a 7/10 cause the lyrics are still INCREDIBLE and the style of experimenting with different genres and vibes is INSANE. But it will never ever top her past albums for me. :)
Can you clarify what you mean but the production is very mainstream pop? Cause I have never heard mainstream pop that sounds anything like this production (besides maybe Billie Eilish but she doesn’t sount she’s only mainstream in popularity not in sound at all) It’s totally ok for you not to like this album your all good I was just being curious what u meant
@@RyanSchilling-fg9qn Yes ofc! i can‘t really find the perfect fitting description but the beats are just very pop like and often her voice sounds a bit overproduced if you know what i mean? when u listen to her past albums there‘s this completely different feeling when she sings and each song sounds so unique whilst especially in Do You Feel? it could be a basic radio song with Auroras high notes added that make it a bit more special but still it sounds like a song produced to be played on radio. Just like Conqueror, it has this pop beat and drums and Aurora hated performing this song live cause it was meant to be a radio song. But still each song on the album is very unique. I just feel way more connected to her past albums and the things she adresses in those. :)
@@tahneebgnr please read whole response any negative thing you said about this album I 100% disagree with and don’t get how you hear it that way The opinion you have that a lot of the album is pop and radio friendly I 100% disagree with and don’t at all get how you hear it that way The opinion that it’s overproduced I 100% disagree with and don’t even understand how you hear it that way I just don’t agree with your opinion on this album at all in anyway to me it’s not even close to radio friendly and nothing on this album is pop (it’s indie pop) and it’s the best produced album I have ever heard and by far the best album anyone has ever made imo But I totally respect ur opinion there is nothing wrong at all with your opinion I may disagree in every way with ur opinion but that’s cause yours and mine opinion don’t match up and they don’t have to we all hear things differently and are allowed to like whatever we like. I hope u are doing well and keep being you :)
@@RyanSchilling-fg9qn That is totally fine if you don‘t agree with my opinion. I never said you have to. I just enjoy a different Aurora sound than the one we get on the new album that‘s all. I'm a big aurora fan , followed her since 2016 when Runaway dropped , just listened to the album , and To be honest, I'm disappointed, I'm not longer felling the energy that she had her 1st album or TGWCT ,the whole album fells like it's made to just fill the bag , feels like she wrote them all in one single day , there are no up and lows in the album , every song feels the same , feels like she lost her magic , btw no hate to her I'm still a fan of her previous work , but this album is 2/10 for me .
I had a feeling this album would be polarizing to people who want her to stick to the same old formula for her songs. I'd rate this album at least an 8/10 on first listen. Maybe you just need more time to digest it?
You don't have to like everything, so I'm not trying to persuade you to like this album. But I will say that for me this feels like she is tired of being always nice and gentle and seeing the world going to worse shit then ever; this is more raw and angry material, unapologetic. I love the techno/electronic turn she took here, ngl, I was feeling like the last album was lacking some strenght, some rawness. Her lyrics are never the same, but also kinda always the same, which I like. She keeps sending her message, with different words as she grows, but I like that she keeps unfolding the emotional burden of being alive, reflecting on existence, death, relationships, emotions, escapism... I also suggest listening to this other times when you have different moods. I will try to do the same for TGWCT...although my forever favourite album will always always be IOADK!!! That was phenomenal. But this has some tracks that are something else... Hey I hope you will still be able to keep something good out of this album, because whoah! some are soooo good, especially with a good pair of headphones!!!
@@jessicaferrari3987 get your point too , but my concern is albums variety of melody , the only track I find different from others is starvation, and due to this lyrics can't create an impact, for ex in TGWCT there are tracks like cure for me and inhale exhale , completely opposite to each other but create impact on the whole album , I have no problem with this kind of music but this project felt like a Mixtape more than an album , tracks don't correlate with each other .
I hear ya… she isn’t the magical forrest creature she used to be. This album is so futuristic and unencumbered by convention… it’s the cybertruck of musical exploration. But she’s also bringing back the thick vocal layering that she did on the first album. Some of her harmonies are choral magic in a new way. I’m willing to bet a couple of songs will grow on you if you give it another volume-up listen.
Can you explain what you mean by variety of melody? Cause like every song has a different melody and the tempos on each song vary a lot it’s a very varied album. Its perfectly fine that you don’t like it your reasoning just doesnt fit the album from what I heard
Don't be ashamed of misintepreting the lyrics. Aurora once said herself that she likes to write in a very metaphorical way because she actually likes to see people having their own interpretation

Like, people can analyze her music as much as they want. I don't care. I know she's in her own league musically. But I am more interested in watching people's facial expressions as they listen to it. It's become one of my favorite things to do.
ohhh my thank you so dearly for your comment, that was so beautiful and lovely❤️❤️❤️❤️🥹🥹🥹 I so agree! she takes my breath away!!
Thank you so much for making this video. You are a sweet and beautiful person.
Great video!💜
I had the same reaction after invisible wounds🙏🏽
Greetings from Norway, great job =)
I struggle with answering if I love music or not. I have not a single thing against any song or any artist but most of the music ever made in history I don’t like I’m very picky about what music I like so I end up listening to just a small amount of artists and to me that’s ok. Aurora is best ofc
Hello, nice to meet you!
cant watch it live catch it later x
Cause I have never heard mainstream pop that sounds anything like this production (besides maybe Billie Eilish but she doesn’t sount she’s only mainstream in popularity not in sound at all)
It’s totally ok for you not to like this album your all good I was just being curious what u meant
@@tahneebgnr please read whole response
any negative thing you said about this album I 100% disagree with and don’t get how you hear it that way
The opinion you have that a lot of the album is pop and radio friendly I 100% disagree with and don’t at all get how you hear it that way
The opinion that it’s overproduced I 100% disagree with and don’t even understand how you hear it that way
I just don’t agree with your opinion on this album at all in anyway to me it’s not even close to radio friendly and nothing on this album is pop (it’s indie pop) and it’s the best produced album I have ever heard and by far the best album anyone has ever made imo
But I totally respect ur opinion there is nothing wrong at all with your opinion I may disagree in every way with ur opinion but that’s cause yours and mine opinion don’t match up and they don’t have to we all hear things differently and are allowed to like whatever we like.
I hope u are doing well and keep being you :)
@@RyanSchilling-fg9qn That is totally fine if you don‘t agree with my opinion. I never said you have to. I just enjoy a different Aurora sound than the one we get on the new album that‘s all. But i also never said i hate the new album. I still listen to it on repeat and especially listen to the songs i mentioned in my first reply.
I‘m glad you love the new album and enjoy all the songs! :)
It still needs to grow on me and maybe in a few weeks until the concert i will enjoy it more.
Hope you have an amazing day/night wherever you are in this world ;)
@@tahneebgnr I just like sharing my full view on things and then reassuring to people it’s not personal and there view is 100% find
Hello! Are you coming to the Sziget festival?
Omg
Oooh, nice 'Garden Shear' haircut 🙂
HAHAHAHAA i thought garden shear was a person🤣🤣🤣
@@JuliaCalis It‘s just REALLY similar to the Haircut AURORA had some time ago… and she said she cuts her hair with garden *scissors* to get that look 😅
I think Earthly Delights is my favorite
Love your channel girl!
Thank you so much!!
@@JuliaCalis would u react to my recent ep Shiny - Ignacio Rourke, on youtube music and spotify, anywhere. Lov u
Hey Julia!!!!!!
Saw you in Oslo yesterday :D
wait did the reaction of do you feel just got cut out💀
yes 😭😭 for some reason youtube forced it to do that 🥲❤️
For some reason, this album was like a mix of enya, Tori Amos and Billie eilish. Maybe because they have deeper voices?
Very kate bush ❤
I know, amazing 🤗🧡

What happened to "Do you feel?"? 😭
Ohhh, were you the lady in the norway team in the fan global event?? :O

@@JuliaCalis omg what an honour to find you! ✨🖤😭 I need to say that I'd spend all the event thinking that you have an amazing vibe, hairstyle and are so cute! 🥺🤗 New follower here, nice to meet you! I'll see you in your next videos! 😁🫡❤️🩹
We need a knee protection song 🤘🤘😋
You are crazy :)
A Soul With No King is my favorite. Too bad you skipped it. Maybe because you've heard the remix? (Which is quite different)
i didnt realize the album version was different! I can make a separate reaction to it? ❤️❤️❤️❤️
@@JuliaCalis well your reaction wouldn't be your first reaction anymore. But what do you think of the song?
@@teunsegersofficial I only listened to the live version, I haven’t yet listened to the album version❤️😊 but the live version was really good!!
