Ahhh this is legit so inspiring! It’s just pure joy to watch you draw because your shape design is just so much fun:) thank you for making and sharing this video ❤️ gonna go draw now :D
Wow, absolutely incredible art. Randomly stumbled across this channel. I might change back careers from software developer to illustrator again. I'm feeling inspired watching these videos
i love watching your art and hearing your advice, even though I'm aiming for a style that can smoothly go between animation and illustration I still love watching your videos!
Am only half way though the video and I just have to say how much I love your art style, it looks so fun and fluid ❤❤❤, also I hope you keep making these types of video ideas, I love seeing characters drawn in different styles
In the future please remember that under braids and locs are shorter dark baby hairs that create a dark undertone on black people’s hair! You can’t see directly into their scalp like you can the first girl you drew otherwise it’s perfect. :)
It varies from person to person some girls and boys with thinner hair you can see more of their scalp and some with thicker hair you don’t see much of it. Example of a person were you see a lot of their scalp with braids is jaylen brown on the Celtics. So it is actually possible to see more of the scalp. African American hair and looks aren’t all the same and they don’t all have the same appearance.
LMAO mansplaining this to me when I'm a black person myself and know what the underside of braids should look like IS crazy dawg. All hair types are different but there should always be baby hairs and or hairs from the scalp showing and coming together when you braid dawg. I'm not arguing with you lol and have a good day. P.S even the example you provided has a ring of baby hairs around his scalp and if you look CLOSELY you can see the hairs coming together to form the braids.
@@princessofblueroses im not a man nor am I white I’m actually African American as well. And yes there are baby hairs but you still prominently see scalp. Not everyone is mansplaining stuff to you. People Can offer different perspectives and growing up African American I can attest to the fact that everyone looks different and has different hair. It’s not offensive to see a black persons scalp it’s also not offensive for a black person to have thinner hair so why make it so? Her picture was beautiful and there might be a African American girl who looks like that or can relate to that and be really happy to see a picture like that. There should be diversity in how African people are drawn too because not one image of how u think African people should always be drawn is how ever african person looks.
@cosmicionicc5134 That's nice and all (I'm not reading allat) but once again I said I'm not going back and forth with you on this. Have a great day lol
I really like your first drawing but for the second piece, the color choices for the jacket and background just don't mesh well. Even if you wanted to keep an overall warm look the yellow for the shoes and the yellow for the background can be different shades of yellow or maybe even more on the orange side. It also doesn't feel like the purple is red enough so it sticks out in a bad way compared to the other warm colors.
I love your art so much, and I want to upload my art for you to see- but at the same time you draw so many women and all my characters are male except for a few that I don’t care much for 😂
I think the second art you did, by Pichikeen, is too warm. It all kind of melds together because they're similar in tones, not much contrast that i think cooler colors could help bring. Like the shoes and the fur of the jacket get kinda lost in the background. The purples are very warm, more magenta so thats not really a place to rest the eyes. The hair is the most eye catching part but it doesn't necessarily lead the eye around the drawing. Personally i dont think the neon ish pink looks well with the red brown of the skin, maybe its because again the background hair skin and even jacket are also similarly bright warm colors without much to separate them. This is just my opinion
For the second one, the original is better. the background blends too much with the character in the redesign. It needs that contrast. And the original looks better overall and the mono palette is intentional.
it doesn't 'need' contrast. sometimes a contrasting background can suck the color out of the character. i find the matching yellow to look really cool against her purple clothes. it's not a competition of who's better, but just her redrawing other people's characters.
Idk about the last one being so skinny, and her facial expression kind of took away from her power... Idk smth about the lips and her eyes. She seems more reserved
I love your artwork & this channel! I notice a lot of these drawing videos include the character(s) smoking. Would love to see less glamorization of smoking on this channel (& Disney & everywhere!!) for young kids watching.

great job redrawing the characters 😀 and that shortcut tool would be so handy!
I really like your style. You should do a video how you draw and paint digitally in your own style.
can you make a video about expressions??

the point of this video isnt to improve upon the original, shes doing her own take on the character LMAO
