To provide some perspective, The Roosevelt Hotel (located seven-tenths of a mile south) was once a magnificent, spectacular, expensive hotel. Today it is a boarding house for migrants.

With all due respect to London, Tokyo, Singapore, Paris, Hong Kong, Dubai, Shanghai, Toronto, and all of the other global mega cities, NYC is a different league, one league above all the others. Since the modern times it has always been the world's number one city, and probably will remain so for many years. (And I'm writing this as someone who is not American, and not the biggest fan of many aspects of the American culture).
Stayed there for a month. Got robbed outside of hotel and beat up badly. It's great being rich😂❤🎉

$3400 a night WHY? There are many many hotels in major cities that are nicer for a fraction of that price.
The room has a Japanese ambience; spare, tranquil, the wall painting is fitting.

It’s interesting. I have stayed at the Upper House hotel in Hong Kong and that reminds me of this one in terms of design. Room sizes. Luxury. Aesthetics. In fact, the average beautiful room in the Upper House is about 750 square feet! Yet it is only about one third the cost per night of this hotel in NYC. Yet HK is more expensive too than NYC. So hmmmmm………

I found the hotel to be the same as many others without offering anything different and very cramped in the very uncomfortable suite.
Spacious rooms, luxurious fittings, but I'm not sure if it's worth paying upwards of $3,000 per night (it's kind of a gloomy hotel actually).

Lovely. The shower should have a glass door. Too enclosed for me. I would have opened up the bathroom. I don't like zoos. Did you go to the 911 site? I would love to stay at that hotel. Greetings from Canada. Also too expensive for me.

How was the street noise level from your 9th floor room?? Was there any 'noise leakage' from the street into your room from below?
I didn't hear any outside noise from my room during my stay.

While the amenities are high-end, I don't come to New York to experience Asia.
Nama restaurant is Aman spelt backwards. You'd think there would be some research done into the naming of one of it's prized dining areas but the satire continues. Well done Aman hotels 🤣🤣🤣 There are several other instances in their urban portfolio which most people haven't picked up on.
Aman means means peace in sanskrit. Nama is japanese for RAW which is fitting since it's a Japanese sushi restaurant. Please use your brain.
just to let you know it is not bVlgari, the italian luxury brand, now belonging to LVMH Group, uses the V as a stilized U, as a fact of the matter, it is Bulgari, which is the last name of the founder.
The room was beautiful. The prices of food and wine would be what you would expect in a luxury hotel. Your outside walk it saddens me to see that the city of new york is still allowing the poor horses to ride people around this hugh traffic and air pollution city.
