Have u put clear line on the supply to the head and one on the return? The low side fuel pressure also seems high. If u open up the system and then check the pressures in SA, will they go to 0 psi?
@@erikstraubhaar1357 have done the return air in fuel test and I used a new suction line out of a pail of diesel. No change New injector o rings Haven’t bled system to check pressures
The wife’s uncle has a JD 9870 with the same issue. Only way to fix it is to replace all injectors. He has been running it that way for 3 years now. Oh man I miss the old 855 Cummins 300$ injectors.
@@cineminded this sensor issue is just flagging a code for high fuel pressure. The smoke on start up is injectors. We’ve done lots of testing to rule out anything else. They are slowly just getting worse and worse. Very expensive is why he has not wanted to do it since it operated fine at higher rpm.
99% of the time that rough idle or miss issue is injectors, I don’t know how many sets of them I’ve done but it’s hundreds…they seem to only last 3000 hrs. Don’t do remans or rebuilds they just don’t work for some reason
@@Deerewrenching yes I agree. We’ve basically checked everything to make sure we didn’t replace them for no reason. Customer just has a hard time wanting to replace them with how good it runs at operating speeds. However with this hard start and heavy smoke at start up I’m sure I’ll be doing a set sooner than later. After market interstate Mcbee is quite a bit cheaper. Wondering about trying them. Have use lots of theirs in N14’s with no issues. Yes, Deere reman is garbage. Haha Thanks for watching.
@@Deerewrenching Insufficient filtration. 3µm absolute, or single pass, or what ever other standards a person wants to call it is mandatory. Citing all remanufactures as deficient is misleading.
The high of pressure codes can be caused by 1 of the 3 check valves in the fuel filter manifold We change them all the time also deere has u remove the screen in that manifold also There is a dtac solution on it The low side pressure seems high to me i would need to look it up to verify The engine sound like it needs injectors for sure Temp the ex manifold ports And compare to one another Perform cyl cutout test in service advisor perform electrinic compression test in sa and verify its good also Those high and low pressure sensors if theres a discrepency in sensor accuracy just change them with known good sensors that wont make it sound like it does if its bad
@@jltcasper3 both valves changed in filter head and I didn’t remove the screen but I replaced it because I broke it trying to remove it. I agree. I think I’ll be putting injectors in this winter.

Nce video man , and because of that sensor beeing bad , the controller is injecting fuel at the wrong time or something ?
