I love the fox drawing! It looked so cute with just the fox, plants, and snail, but when you added the blue background it really stared to pop with the contrasting colors. I also quite like the layering of colored pencils over markers, and the texture of the paper that shows up works really well for the fox's fur. You just need to embrace the quirks of the combinations and make it a feature rather than trying to minimize it!
The removal of the tentacle would probably be like a body modification for her species, a thing to show you are tough and can handel pain? Or maybe there was something wrong with it or it got damaged and she had to have it removed, their version of a bald spot. Both turned out great. Oh gosh that sounds terrible what happened to Sally, no worries telling, I am glad that she is doing better, poor baby! Lots of hugs from Denmark to the cutie

The tentacled girl had nice colors (love purple and yellow together!) and the backpacking fox and snail was a cheerful drawing.... it actually cheered me up a little.

I find it hilarious how suspicious Swedish customs are towards art supplies. Maybe I'm just extremely unlucky but I think I've managed to have all my imported packages picked apart and in some tragic cases the individual items opened and used (I assume for testing them for illegal substances). It's like that meme with the guy and the butterfly: Customs sees art supplies and asks "Is this drugs?" I can't really think of any other reason for it. This has been going on for close to two decades now. I'd have think that at some point they would have realized that Swedish art supplies can be somewhat limited and gotten used to it but I guess not, well as long as it makes them happy, bless their little suspicious minds. XD

I have to be honest when you were drawing the fox picture I didn't particularly like it but when it was finished it was actually my favourite of the two. I'm not sure what I didn't like, there was nothing wrong with it but it just didn't seem to gel together for me until the very end. The gradient background just brought it all together and I really like the finished piece. Poor Sally cat! My doggo turned 10 at the beginning of the month (70 in doggo years) and he has issues with his teeth too and arthritis in his hips and back legs - they do love to worry us don't they! 😂 Glad Sally is feeling better now 🙂
I had my very first sketch box opened by customs and it was trashed. It was all screwed up and thrown in. They had taken the bottle of ink out of the box and just chucked them box back in separately. They had ruined the ink box, it was all torn and even looked as it it had been wet. It was the anniversary box, I'd been so excited and they ruined it for me. I was gutted. Glad yours was ok. I understand they have to check now and again but they could be respectful and not damage things.

I am always so jealous of people who can use spectrum noir markers. The results always look phenomenal and they are a more affordable option compared to some brands. But I have teeny tiny hands and the shape and size of the marker housing makes them impossible for me to use. 😢
any plans to distribute coloring pages outside patreon? Interested in purchasing a printed coloring book or individual digital pages in future. also much prayer goes to your cat because I personally know what it is to go through a lot of doctor visits to deal with chronic problems and it certainly does take the energy out of anyone. D:

Bruynzeel the version you got is among the cheaper ones, kids grade. They do have student and artist grade pencils, but they are wax based.

I think she’s in the process of making a shop on Etsy where you might be able to print a digital copy, but who knows 🤷♀️ hopefully though!
