The 500+ day wait for a Toya event was so worth it. It's so nice to see him happy, after he struggled so much- it's also awesome to see it be a lot more him-centric: a lot of VBS events end up being more about everyone opposed to the focus character (like Akito's 2nd). Really glad I got to watch this so shortly after it came out, and we have you to thank lozy bug!!! Now, to wait for the song to drop officially!
The ending with Souma left me sad, it was unexpected, I hope Arata comes back, thank you very much for translating this event, see you with the Akito puppy event!

also storyline wise it does seem go be moving fast but there was a big ass time skip so that might be apart of it... they did say that their NEXT event will be surpassing rad weekend but i think they might fail and have to retry /hj pjsk is supposed to end in like 2-3 years (that physically hurt my heart it will not end it will not end it will not end it will n) and being able to finish rad weekend thid soon seems waaaayyy too fast, unless they gain another dream they'd like to accomplish
@@isegeese exactly- i don’t think any of the other units had such a big time skip and i just felt like it wasn’t necessary. they could’ve spent time in the training arc instead of skipping several months because it just felt jarring to suddenly be pushed so far forward in the plot 😭 and with all the work they’re putting in and the confidence all of them have in the idea that they’ll be surpassing rw at their next event i feel like it’s likely to happen? but it does seem wayyyy too soon. i thought it was supposed to be an endgame sort of goal. sure they do have the goal of ‘taking over the world’ afterwards but i have no idea how that’s supposed to even work since they can’t leave japan in the game 😭

I think most of my opinions about this arc have been expressed by everyone here, But one thing I’d like to also point out: I was a bit (pleasantly) surprised to hear how confident and serious Kohane sounds when she declared this in 3:40. She sounds almost commanding (in a good way) It makes me think about how much growth they’ve accumulated since training under Ken, and how solid their determination & teamwork has become. It also makes me really curious of what An & Kohane’s task from Ken are. I’m so excited to find out in future events! The reveal in the end too… I’m also surprised that they’re gonna aim to surpass rad weekend literally at their next event… I thought they’d wait for Arata and Ever to come back first. I didn’t expect it to be this fast! But I guess they really do want to go beyond Nagi’s dream, which is to conquer the world with music. It’s nice to know that VBS’s dream doesn’t stop at surpassing Rad Weekend, but to go even further than that! I’m excited for VBS’s future!
