I think this is why the Dev team isn't talking about balance yet because as more content is added the balance and meta changes each time. The final meta will only really settle down and therefore be able to balance properly when we go into early access
I wish they would scope smaller incremental changes. This time between update and the last seems like forever and I just stopped playing HLL basically. I don't need new content I just need quality of life updates. It's so frustrating to join 2 friends currently in a match and get to playing. It's so frustrating to drive a tank only to get permanently stuck on a shovel. It's so frustrating to have your SMG be full of marshmallows.

I believe if you keep up your amazing work with your videos, the only way is up for my mate. The saddest thing is HLL don't have that huge of an audience but if update 8 is going to be as great or even better than the reviews and gameplay has been so fare, there's a potential for HLL to become perhaps one of the best "realistic" FPS WWII game ever created. Hopefully, that's going to increase the player base and for you more viewers, subscribers, and publicity for you, your channel, and the community. Keep up the excellent work! I think you can find people in your small community or in your circle of friends that can help you out with the whole discord "problem" and with the setup of a proper server.
my concern is that when they've 'fixed' it all to the needs of the loudest voice we'll have a game that will have so many creases ironed out you may as well play football. part of the drama of this game is that it is uneven sometimes, but its not always uneven in any one direction all the time - as in real war. after all this is a war game - and if the playing field is levelled out everywhere it will become dull uninspiring and boring. so who has the loudest voice Clans? Public? Devs? you will not be able to please everyone - and an attempt to do so may ruin a great War game. nice video. thanks!

It drives me mad. It’s not a 100 meter sprint. It’s chaos and destruction. Confusion. Take away the immersion of war and the game is ruined. I hope they don’t screw it by trying to please everybody. Yes, the run in from spawn is an arse - but isn’t there something glorious in the fact it’s a slog. And then you die. My grandfather’s stories of war defined just that: you eventually make it to the front and you’re killed instantly. Please don’t fix what ain’t broke. Don’t make it too easy just to keep a player base. I know that’s not good economics - but I don’t care who wins I just want to enjoy being part of the craziness , win or loose.
the problem is we have a bunch of new, uneducated players or just players who couldn't give a shit not knowing or understanding the fundamentals of the game. i'm excited for update 8 but i'm worried that people still won't get the idea that we need the fucking garrisons and nodes even with the simpler but also more complex resource system.
This update is make or break for me, been playing since Alpha, surprised myself that I even still play. 80-90% of veterans/ people who originally bought into HLL years ago have already left, this says a lot

Stuck up teams with veterans it's a big problem for games like HLL. I play on EUTW arma 3 kind of similar game play, and there is this problem of stack up teams with experienced players. I've played HLL and enjoyed except for some games where I was on the wrong team. Nothing todo but run and die. Awful experience.
@@wildbilljammin I have no idea... Evidently veteran players know how to play and use logistic better than a new player. until now it is a personal choice what team you join. The balancing method only watch for number of players. Veterans knowing the game mechanics have the tendency to go in the same team. Basically you can have 10 veterans fighting against 15 or 20 new players (people who don't understand fully the rules and the game) and win the game. From my experience in Arma, even communicating with new players with voice in game, asking them to fight inside the capturing circle or defend inside that circle is mission impossible, as people on the other side don't have a microphone, or don't understand English... So I have no clue.
Not really true. HARDCORE clan play the game as intended, not clan. I saw a lot of clan match where people doing crap during the match. A main reason why i prefer to play on rented public server where an active administration is managing the crowd. At least, i don't meet the same "slow" grandpa everyday who need time to understand stuff. In a clan match, the guy think than he is the best because he play clan match, so, if you say something to him, i will not listen. No thanks.
