- There are a bunch of different Skylanders across the 6 games of the franchise. And out of all of them, my favorite is and will always be Hammer Slam Bowser from Skylanders Superchargers! This video is a discussion on why King Koopa is my favorite Skylander of all time!!

Interesting to note that Kaos would have destroyed the Mario universe with the Sky Eater right after Skylands! Also this means that the Spyro, Crash, Skylanders, and Mario universes are all connected in 1 single multiverse!!! Imagine the potential!
The Mario universe is also connected to every Nintendo game, the sonic universe, and whatever's going on at ubisoft. That means that the sky eater would've destroyed many franchises and universes
Skylanders is connected to Super Mario, which is connected to Smash Bros, which is connected to Street Fighter, which is connected to Fortnite, which is connected to everything. Coincidence? I think not.
So are the Banjo-Kazooie, Conker, and Sonic universes.

Interesting to know that the crossover with Bowser and Donkey Kong increased the Wii U’s sales and was mutually beneficial as I bet some Nintendo fans who didn’t care for Skylanders before tried out the game with the crossover characters of Donkey Kong and Bowser! I’m glad I own a Wii U!

The Wii U version isn’t that bad I think.
In Swap-Force there is a Skylander (I forgot his name but he's magnet face) who could pick up enemies and throw them into pits, killing them instantly. His ability was nerfed in subsiquent games by having an invisible wall blocking the enemies from falling in to those pits.
The skylander you are talking about is called magna charge

Slobbertooth has a similar gimmick where he can get an enemy in his mouth, and then spit it out. He also has the same nerf. Which we can agree was more detrimental for him than Magna Charge for most fans.
Since Slobbertooth is considered like a mid-tier.
Bowser and Donkey are by far my favourite sky landers I’ve ever owned, it made playing on the god awful Wii U a lot more bearable cause I could use them in smash and in Mario kart 8. DK had a pretty cool play style using a barrel as a nod to his OG days and having him reach over 1000 health like a giant, but then there’s bowser and oh boy I made every excuse in the book just to use him specifically, not only can he use the green and red koopas to attack you if using the hammer gets a little boring what do they do? GIVE BOWSER A MOLTEN FORM THAT LOOKS SO AWESOME AND BADASS. I wish I got the dark version of bowser and the normal version of DK cause having both version would have been such a riot lol
So many franchises connect into 1 multiverse, interesting!

Hammer Slam Bowser is the sole reason why I ended up getting the 3DS version of Superchargers Racing, so my brother could have him. My brother could have easily gotten the Wii version of Superchargers Racing in order to have Hammer Slam Bowser.

I remember when they were announced at E3, they were the *only* thing I cared about and they both ended up being my main Skylanders. But after a couple years of owning them, I noticed that they didn't really fit my playstyle/preference for ranged characters. Not to mention they both starred in, imo, the worst game in the series. Still, I wish Hammer Slam and Turbo Charge would be part of the Nintendo legacy
I was really excited for them to come to Skylanders too. I know some people think Superchargers is the worst buy I really like. 👌
@Matthew 35 for me it just feels like it was mainly racing missions and small platforming
I find it kinda odd that crash bandicoot and neo cortex aren’t PlayStation exclusive figures like bowser and donkey Kong are exclusive for Nintendo. Great video as always! 😁
That's because crash has had games on non playstation platforms and some nintendo exclusive games

Funny story, my favorite skylander was actually a long story,
Okay, it all started at my best friend’s skylander birthday party, I just got there, and my friend greats me at the front enterance, and tells me to come in, and we start off by getting a keychain that has our favorite skylander on it, and I just picked a random name, and that name was sunburn, later on in life, I was able to try him out, and he did not disappoint me
Sunburn is easily, my favorite skylander, BY FAR

From comments by Activision, there were three other Nintendo owned characters they wanted to bring over for this collab. Fox, (who got turned down by Nintendo to avoid conflict with Star Fox Zero), Kirby (Hal had the final say on the matter and never signed the dotted lines), and, finally Peach (she would've been a sword fighter to some degree, but Nintendo at the time thought it was too out of character for her. ...irony.)
Any of those characters would’ve been great! I still don’t mind that we got DK and Bowser! 👌

Hammer Slam Bowser is my favorite Skylander, too (alongside Turbo Charge Donkey Kong).
When it was revealed that Bowser and Donkey Kong were going to be in Skylanders: SuperChargers, I was in COMPLETE AWE! Two of my favorite video game characters of all time were in Skylanders, and it had to be some of the most bada** characters as well. I mean, we’re talking about the Kong who KNOCKED THE STINKING MOON OUT OF ORBIT!!! And the Koopa King who has LITERALLY CONQUERED THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF GALAXIES, IF NOT THE WHOLE DANG UNIVERSE!!! Let that sink into your mind and you’ll see how awesome these two are compared to every other Skylander.
Ikr on one hand you have an ape who’s that powerful that he punched the moon into the Tiki thing and it bounced BACK into orbit. And then there’s bowser who straight up conquered most of the universe and survived a literal black hole and felt nothing afterwards

Interesting! Flare Wolf has a Soft Spot in My Heart ever since i Got Him.
I know it's not very original but my favourite Skylander is Gill Grunt.
Gill Grunt was my first Skylander when we got the starter pack in 2011. He's been there at my side since day one and has supported me through multiple runs of the games and helped me achieve 100% in most of the games.
My favourite path is Water Weaver because it gives him infinite water, something that is very useful when speedrunning.
I have every Gill Grunt except the Elite, and he'll always be my favourite.

@@DavidDumbedDown his backstory is that he was an orphan that loved racing so he built a weird little triangle car thing then he went to a race and all the other races were bullying him for having a weird car but then in the middle of the race he found a bunch of Chompies in the middle of the track so instead of trying to win the race he defeated all the Chompies so the other Racers wouldn't get hurt but when he was doing that eon saw him and recruited him as a Skylander

I’m getting some stuff from Mercari. The Swap Force Wii U Bundle, Imaginators on Switch, Hammer Slam Bowser, The Superchargers Starter Pack for Wii U, the Stealth Stinger for Stealth Elf, All Trophies including Gill Grunt, and all Swap Force Skylanders(except for Doom Stone). And all Stuff needed to 100% Imaginators.

I think both hammer slam bowser and turbo charge donkey kong are incredible figures, however I see DK as slightly better, as his moveset seems to have an attack that is effective in every situation

i bought a wii u the other day and can play a regular skylanders now as dk and bowser and i think bowser is technically better but i like dk more bc he's special to me for donkey kong country and 64 being two of my favorite games when i was little and all the little things with him like sitting out of a barrel and raining girders is really fun. Superchargers specifically being the game they were added in i think is fun too bc i get to race as them and donkey kong has always been one of my favorites to use in all the mario kart games since i was little too

I finally got dark hammer slam bowser for Christmas, too bad I only have a switch and 3ds so I can’t use him on the original Skylanders superchargers, only superchargers racing and imaginators

I know nobody will probably ever see this comment, but I just ordered Hammer Slam Bowser a couple of weeks ago to give to my little brother as a Christmas present, I really wanted me and him to get back into playing Skylanders together, and it worked! We play Skylanders Imaginators almost every day now, he uses Bowser, I use Pain-Yatta.

I got bowser with the 3ds starter pack and was super excited for him but got kinda underwhelmed when I realised he's not my type to play with. Not after spitfire and shark shooter terrafin stole the show for me. Definitely have to try him in imaginators tho

exactly after playing a lot more he beat out chain reaction for me I actually don't like chain reaction much anymore but yeah he is great he has such a great design and is super great for combat also bowser is just a great character also DK is really good too they are both really great and bowser is a masterpiece. but still prism break is better

I never invested in the Wii U and I don't really regret that decision. Except that it means I can't play as this guy and Donkey Kong in the story mode. At least I have Superchargers Racing for the 3DS. So, they're not entirely inaccessible for me. Also, I've said it before, but my favorite Skylander is easily Chopper.
Spitfire is my favourite supercharger skylander of all time, first he hits hard, second he got a speed boost, and third he can summon a flamenado a tornado on fire, i know we had tornado master skylanders before such as warnado and free ranger, but their tornadoes are not like spitfire's

My all time favorite skylander? hmm I'm not sure probably guesss it would have to be stealth elf back in my younger days I own a lot of stealth elf's but now a days I only have two stealth elf's both eon elites.

@@Mikeinoid Yeah she's mostly my quick powerhouse she can move really fast and with the right upgrades can get rid of enemies really fast to she can also heal yeah it's slow but that 5 percent really helps I almost have no use with the other skylanders unless it's for the gates.
